Chapter 15

[Lon Chapter Ahead, also just to clear something out. On the bath scene yuki takes baths/showers with the guys like normal reagardless of the fact that she's a female, she doesn't do it completely on the nude though because she only does that with bachira, but since his not here yet then she joins the other guys instead. So when taking baths with the guys she's on her underwear & bra only. The guys are aware that yuki is bachira's girl by now though & she belongs to him, so they aren't pervs. or anything of the sort towards her, instead it's quite the opposite. They respect & admire her treating her like any other normal team player, the same applies for Nagi since his part of her team now & he became close friends with her. Nagi is lazy & slouchy as hell when outside of the field so he doesn't exactly care about any of that perv. type of stuff, but he still treats yuki as his friend nonetheless & admires her strength, power & weapon. Plus his been training her so his more focused on that rather then on anything else. Now on to the story!]

When we got to the room with 3 beds Nagi & Barou were bickering with each other, i grunted softly & sighed i might have misjudged things when it comes to having 2 geniuses as team mates, now there's a war over who gets the nice bed.

"Calm down you 2 we can talk this out....."

Nagi & barou just glare & growl at each other.

"Huh? You wanna go?"

"I said.... i wanna sleep in this bed!"

"No... i'm gonna sleep on this bed"

"....... You guys know that i like this bed too right? so you're not the only ones"

Nagi just puff his cheeks at me when i said that.

"Yea but i want it.... you can take the top bunkbed yuki"

"The bunkbeds are to narrow & it sucks having the whole bed shake whenever the person in the top bunk rolls over, so i'm gonna use the single bed"

"Huh? then let's play rock, paper, scissors for it. Why do you get to decide the rules?"

"Because... i am the rules"

Nagi suddenly grabbed the pillow & threw it at him, getting annoyed to which barou just ducked down & avoided.

"You lost so quit talking big!!! eat shit king!!"

"But i haven't lost individually, my rule is absolute... That's what it means to live with me!"

"You're a hassle!! a totall hassle!! you're a hassle king!!"

They just started throwing pillows at each other fighting, one of them even hit me to which nagi immediately responded to when he saw it.

"Hey don't hit yuki"

"You're fault dumbass....."

"Knock it off!! you're gonna make us start sneezing from all the dust you're forming up!!"

And we did, nagi sneezed after i said that which made me grunt & sigh again. Barou just growled annoyed & glared at us.

"Wait a sec.... you.... stop messing this up, ventilate our room & i meant to say this sooner. But don't just leave you're towels & dirty clothes lying around, it's an eye sore."

Barou suddenly just started fixing the bed & cleaning everything up, which honestly surprised me i guess he has morals after all. Nagi just sat down on the bed with his phone on his hand.

"A king? more like a maid, here comes maid barou!"

"Guess we aren't gonna get along..... whatta painman"

"Huh? that sucks what's with that weird nickname?"

Barou just growled at him & snatched something from underneath him.

"Move it painman"

"Hey, quit calling me that my parents wouldn't like it"

"Also i got to sleep at 10 so don't turn on the lights after that"

"What a hassle.... i'm gonna play games"

Nagi just lied down on the bed flat on his stomach playing games on his phone & barou just kept cleaning, I think i get it now, barou has his own absolute rules it's that his aesthetic sense demands that things are a certain way. He has a very specific way of living his life, it's kinda funny to see them act like this outside of the field. It's like they're complete different people, but i'm sure the aesthetic behind his personal rule. Give birth to his overwhelming abilities on the field, they might be a driving force behind his ego. I kinda wanna learn more about him, i want to understand him more. If we don't understand each other we can't produce a chemical reaction.

"Hey you guys wanna go train together for a bit?"

"Mmmm.... yea"

"......"

We changed to our suits again & went to the training room but only me & nagi were doing all the work, barou was doing something else on his own.

"Hey Yuki... i don't mind practicing but it's only been the 2 of us the whole time, what's he doing over there?"

Barou was doing some type of training a few feet away from us.

"Well.... it seems like this is his daily physical training"

"It's taking for ever...."

"And it seems pretty tough too..."

"How long are you gonna do that for barou? hurry up & start practicing combo with us"

"Wait another 40 minutes, then i'll join you"

"40 minutes that's like watching a whole episode of drama.... do you think he lost the idea of cooperation while still in the womb?"

"Yea.... or almost 2 anime episodes....."

"But... maybe that thorough training & stoicism are what gives his player they're strength"

"Maybe, though it still seems pathological"

Still i guess he does this every before before doing matches, in that case then maybe i should try it too.

"I'll join you then barou"

"Huh? what loser? you think you can keep up with me?"

"I won't know unless i try"

"Huh? didn't see that coming.... ugh...... hey yuki...... don't leave me behind."

Nagi thew the ball he was holding to the side & ran to join us too.

"I'll do it too!!"

If we want to keep winning & advancing & defeat the top 3 then the 3 of u s need to produce a chemical reaction, after training me & nagi went to take a bath real quick. We were sweating after doing all that so we just went to cool ourselves down, when we went back to the room barou was sleep on the bed him & nagi were fighting over.

"Ah"

"Seriously...?"

"I said we should rock, paper, scissors for it right? mind if i punch him awake?"

"No Nagi, let him be"

"Mmm..... Fine..."

"His a scary king but i guess the room does seem pretty clean, he must of cleaned it again while we were in the showers"

"Well whatever thinking about it is a hassle so i'm gonna sleep, Night yuki"

Nagi just climbed on the top bunkerbed & just immediately went to sleep, he really is lazy. But wait, now i have to sleep on the bottom bunkbed, i just sigh & grunted softly.

"Geez.... thanks alot nagi...."

Well whatever i just went to sleep & called it a day, i went to eat at the dinning room. Nagi stayed in the room playing games on his phone & i think barou was around here somewhere eating food too. He was sitting alone so i decided to join it but i didn't do it without asking first, the next person i need to adapt too is barou. Me & nagi are close already so now i gotta work with barou.

"Mind if i sit with you barou?"

"Huh? Suit yourself"

I sat down with him after he told me that & ate my food with him.

"Hey barou, what's you're ideal play style?"

"What's that about? why do you care?"

"Because i want our plays to make a chemical reaction, just like i have with nagi. So i figured we should understand each other's favored playstyle"

"...... Guess you're thinking about this in you're own loser way"

"So tell me... about the kind of soccer you want to play"

"Act to help me score goals, that's it. Period"

"But you lost to us playing like that, maybe you should help you're teammates more..."

"Huh? What are you talking about? i would of won that match if asashi would of done what i wanted"

"But you still lost even if you score all by yourself.... you can't make you're team win"

He just growled at me when i said that & turned to face me.

"Who cares? i'll win with my own goals, i never bend my rules & if you're that hang up on winning with teamwork... then maybe you should of just teamed up with that pipsqueak instead loser"

"Me & asashi could never produce a chemical reaction, a shot range of over 28 meters... charging power.... you have abilities that i could never get. Even if i spent my whole life working for them & you're abilities can shine even brighter alongside me"

Barou finished eating his food & stood up to leave.

"Ha! in that case all the more reason to do what i say"

"H-Hey!! hang on barou.... then there's no point in being a team if i do that"

"Shut up i'm taking a bath, stick with that other loser of yours then if you're so hang up on teamwork, i'm leaving"

His such a pain in the ass, he seriously thinks that his the king. Sheesh, but there's no mistaken his talent but he can't win without cooperating either. This is gonna be one tough & long road to advancing, after i finished eating i just went to the third stage bath. I went to take a bath washing myself up but grunted softly, my muscles were so sore. I guess it's because of that training we did with barou, still can't believe he does that every day, i suddenly got splashed with soap & water a bit which startled me.

"Oh sorry..."

"Ah.... oh!! Kunigami!?!?"

"Yuki.....?"

"Holy crap you're here too!!"

"Hey... that's my line!! wait...... why are you still in 3rd stage? shouldn't of you have advanced by now?"

I grunted softly when he said that, we went to take a seat on the bigger tub as i explained to him what happened & why i wasn't able to advance yet.

"Oh.... so basically you lost to rin & his team & they stole bachira from you.... & then you stole barou & kicked out asashi so... to sum it up that's how you ended up here?"

"Yea pretty much"

"Seems like you've gone through hell since last time i saw you"

"What about you? who did you team up with kunigami?"

"Me"

Suddenly chigiri sat down with us on the tub & glared over to us.

"Why'd you go on ahead without us yuki? you big idiot....."

"Chigiri!!"

"......."

They both suddenly just splashed me with water & ruffle my wet hair which made me yelp in surprise.

"H-Hey!!"

"Why didn't you wait for me you idiot?!"

"Yea same here!!"

"Sorry!! i wanted to wait for you..... but nagi asked me to join...."

Suddenly nagi just floated in the water near us & caught our attention.

"Hm? what was that? talking about me?"

"What are you doing nagi?"

"Huh? this is the most relaxing way to bath, you should try it yuki"

The guys just shuckled at him & smiled softly.

"Haha well i guess.... i'd probably team up with nagi too if he asked me to join him"

"Yea same here"

"I just recognized yuki as a strong player & wanted to play soccer with her, would of been a waste not to take her with me. Didn't want good players like her to go to waste & get expelled from blue lock, she's really good on the field just like me we make a great team together"

"Nagi..."

Barou suddenly approached nagi & growled loudly at him getting annoyed.

"Hey painman, you... don't swim in public baths..."

"Aw what's the problem barou? this is fine!! look i'm a ninja"

Childish just like bachira, but that seems to only anger barou even more.

"Quit blowing bubbles!! you're getting spit in the tub!!"

Barou then suddenly glared at us.

"And you guys!! you made sure to wash up properly before getting in here right? & you're towels are dirty so don't drop them in!!"

"Yeeeep, i conditioned my hair too"

"Hey yuki.... is barou really this uptight?"

I couldn't help but shuckle, i took the wet towels of the tub & put them to the side.

"Yea his super particular about this stuff..."

Barou just grabbed & dragged nagi away while chigiri & kunigami turned to face me again, i leaned myself agaisnt the edge of the tub near them again after i put the towels away.

"So? have you decided on you're next opponent yet yuki?"

"No not yet, what about you guys?"

"Well we.....-"

Someone interupted chigiri before he could even finish his sentence.

"We're obviously gonna play you guys that's the only reason i teamed up with these 2"

"Huh?"

"Reo!!"

Nagi suddenly walked closer to him & started rambling excitedly.

"It's been a minute! listen to this reo!! i've been practicing alot & i been training yuki too, me & her are...-"

Reo suddenly interupted nagi before he could even continue talking.

"Stop it"

".....!?"

"You & i are rivals now nagi, you didn't chose me & instead picked yuki. So now i'm gonna crush you"

Reo just glared at nagi then turned his glare towards me, chigiri & kunigami glanced towards me as well after reo challenged us.

So.... how about it then yuki?"

"Don't run away"

Nagi glared at reo for a moment, his demeanor changing to a more serious one. He then turned to glance over to me & tilt his head slightly, wondering if i would accept the challenge or not.

"Yuki....."

"Yea i know nagi.... but that's just what we need. So yea let's do it"

I guess now we got our next match. Me, Nagi & barou vs Chigiri, Kunigami & reo. This should be an interesting match & if we end up winning then we can advance forward getting one step closer to reaching bachira. Nagi walked across the bath tub grabbing a dry towel then walking over towards me & handing it to me so i could dry off, he kinda behaves like bachira in some way a little bit, i think reo was angry at how nagi was behaving with me when he saw it. Ever since they split nagi has been strengthening his friendship with me instead of him for some reason, i honestly thought they were pretty close but i guess nagi's interest is different then his or something. I'm aware that nagi admires & recognizes me as a strong player but i always thought that reo was more important to him & closer then i am, but i can see now that that's not it at all. Nagi formed a friendship with me after we teamed up & his been behaving like that ever since, he also made a friendship with bachira, but since his still on the opposing team then nagi just sticks with me instead.

"Thanks Nagi"

I dried off & he did as well not long after me, we put our uniform suits back on & headed to the locker room, i sat down on the bench while nagi stayed standing up drinink a sports drink. We had 14 hours until the match begins so we just decided to go over some things first.

"Okay... so the plan is we'll use passes that barou can eceive easily & nagi & i will pass back & forth to respond to the enemy & break through, then we'll be flexible about who shoots."

"Works for me, feels like i can score alot that way"

"Hey, you'd better pass to me"

Nagi took a seat on the bench after a while & continued to take sips of his drink.

"No way, i mean you never pass"

"Pass it anyways"

"No, if anything i'll pass it to yuki. At least she knows how to work as a team with me, unlike you."

"Nagi we gotta work in teams...."

Nagi turned to face me for a moment.

"But he never passes, so i rather pass the ball to you then to him. We'll lose if he goes off on his own again yuki..."

Barou growled at him loudly & got annoyed when he kept refusing, nagi just glared back at him.

"Just do it"

"I said no!!! Yuki's first"

"Bastard...."

It seems like it will be hard to get those 2 to cooperate on the field, only nagi seems to be the one cooperating. I'll just have to respond to them both to make a chemical reaction happen, i mean me & nagi already got one his really good working with me, but with barou on the other hand i haven't got anything yet. Nagi then suddenly got my attention & glanced over to me.

"Hey yuki.... Why'd you accept they're challenge so quickly? i mean i don't mind but..... why? couldn't we have searched a little more before deciding on an opponent?"

"Ah... well.... i guess i didn't want them to look down on us. But nagi you're handling, barou's charging dribble & my direct shots. For the 3 of us to beat rin's team with those weapons, i think we're still missing some critical strength"

"LIke...?"

"Speed Star Hyoma Chigiri, i want his speed"

"I see..."

"Hey hold up, i wanna steal a post player who can pass to me. That beefy orange hair dude... what i want is his ability to pass the ball"

"Well it's true... with kunigami we'd have an easier time managing the front lines & his middle shot weapon is really good too"

"I think.... reo would be good yuki"

"Reo? didn't you leave him behind to advance forward?"

"Yes but.... he can useful to the team too if we get him we could advance & reach bachira with his help, plus his still my friend too. I think you would get along with him, his a hassle but..... nice...."

Nagi still considers him a good friend despite the fact that he decided to join & come with me instead, but now it's complicated. Everyone wants a different person.

"Hold on a second..... we all want different people, we can only pick 1 of those 3"

"I just know what kind of soccer i wanna play"

"Well.... we don't have to decide right now, if we don't win then 1 of us will get stolen instead. And i don't want yuki to get stolen, we promised each other that we would advance together & reach bachira & i don't wanna get stolen either, she'll be left behind if i do. Well i mean i'll advance either way with or without her but it's gonna be really frustrating & a hassle to leave a friend like her behind....."

Nagi already told me previously that if either 1 of us get stolen, we gotta keep advancing forward & not get sad about leaving each other, that will just slow us down alot more. It would be fustrating because that would mean we won't be int he same team anymore & we would become rivals, but we gotta reach the top as well no matter what happens. So nagi was determine to make that happen with or without me & he wanted me to do the same.

"You 2 can do whatever you want, but i'm the king & i'm gonna be the one making goals"

"Ugh..... this cannot end well...."

"Such a hassle this is why i prefer yuki over you, even if you call youself a 'King' you can't do shit on the field on you're own, you'll just screw us over & make us lose. So i'll be passing the ball to yuki instead when & if she needs me we'll score the goals"

Barou just growled at him loudly when he said that, i put my hand up towards nagi & told him to just stop provoking barou any further to which he did & just stayed quiet. We had 9 minutes until the match starts so we put on our uniforms & got ready to head to the field, nagi waved his hand at me at bit gesturing me to not get left behind as we walked down the hall towards the field.

"Let's go yuki it's about to start"

"Yea, i'm coming Nagi"

I can't lose here & now, i need to steal back bachira so i won't be stopped at 3 vs 3. We headed to the field & got ready to start our match, i really hope we can win this one & i hope my monster doesn't come out & ruin it. I've been doing exceptionally good without him these past few days, i think i'm getting better at controling him. Well it's mostly thanks to nagi & bachira but i feel like i'm doing a good job too, now i need to win this match without him again & keep advancing forward.

"Ready Yuki?"

"Yea, let's go Nagi"
