Chapter 16

The match begins with team white vs team red, i got the first as the first kick off. I quickly pass the ball to barou i hope we can at least make a chemical reaction today otherwise i'll have to think of other ways to win this, barou received & took the ball but was blocked by kunigami.

"Yo King, i'm gonna drag you down from you're throne"

"Just try it peon"

Barou suddenly tackled & shoved kunigami but he stayed near him despite the shove he just did

"Think you can stop me with a puny tackle like that!?"

Kunigami suddenly took some distance from barou which surprised him

"You're not getting close enough"

"Then come on"

Kunigami went back but grabbed his arm this time, why was kunigami guarding like that? he keeps getting close only to move away. What is his plan.

"Okay... you can go that way if you want"

"Huh?"

"I can't stop you completely..... so i'll just focus on keeping you from shooting."

Oh so that's it they know about barous 27 meter shot range, so they're using an aggressive 1 on 1 guard to keep him from getting within range. It's impossible to stop barou's dribble charges so by letting him move freely towards the outer parts of the field, kunigami can use his physical deffense to block barou from entering his shoot zone. It's a personal anti-barou deffense style, that makes perfect use of kunigami's strength. 

"Well i'm just barely holding on at this point"

"You're pretty clever... for a meathead"

I ran across the field & tried to get barou to pass me the ball so i could help him.

"Pass it barou!! over here!! we'll break through with a 1 on 2 pass!!"

"Shut up, don't get in my way loser... i can get past him by myself!!"

"Barou's just.... doing what he wants again, what do we do yuki?!"

"Don't fall back nagi! hold you're position!! i'll get to barou & get him to pass it forward somehow!!"

Suddenly reo charged towards me & came from behind.

"What do you think you can do? Prepare youself Yuki Kisune"

"Reo!?!"

He then put his hand on my chest & shoved me backwards.

"Nagi is.... the treasure that i found"

"Huh?"

"And in this match... i'll steal him back!!"

"BIg talk for someone who lost him, he came to me on his own so just try it reo"

"Tsk!!"

Once again i tried to call out to barou but he was refusing to listen to me.

"Barou!! Pass it!! now!!"

"Shut it!! you'll mess me up!!"

"Let me help Barou!! you can't do it alone!!"

"The king is not going to pass"

Reo suddenly dashed forward & went towards kunigami & barou, he managed to get past me & get to them quickly.

"You're late Reo!!"

"Nice job holding out meat shield!!"

Now it was a 2 on 1 combination press, reo managed to steal the ball from barou & run across the field with it, nagi just glared at him & sigh softly.

"Tsk!! Dammit!!"

"See!?! we told you..."

"Let's go kunigami!!"

"I'm already running...."

They saw that barou wasn't passing & caught him in a pincer attack & they switched to offense so fast now its me vs reo & kunigami, totaly disadvantage. But regardless i gotta stop them, i gotta watch carefully if he will keep dribbling or pass to kunigami & stay in my position so i can respond to either option. Reo suddenly passed the ball & i thought it was going to kunigami but instead it went to chigiri who was at the other side of the field, he quickly received & caught the ball.

"Right on target reo"

But nagi quickly blocked him.

"I've been waiting.... looks like even you're speed... drops when you trap the ball i've caught up to you red panther"

"Just for a second are you happy prodigy? you.... can eat my dust."

Chigiri suddenly speeds up & passes nagi leaving him behind, as always chigiri is one fast player.

"For real? his infuriatingly fast"

We just started the match & it's already getting screwed over, our formation has been totally destroyed. Kunigami's strength, reo's tactical vision & chigiri's speed by understanding & combining they're weapons & drawing out each other's power. They're surpassing barou & nagi this is they're team high level tripple combo, chigiri scored a goal for his team putting us at 1-0. I grunted & sigh softly.

"They're strong huh? with no weaknesses they're a crazy good team, it makes me.... feel fired up"

"Yea & it makes me wanna crush them"

My eyes gave a feint red glow for a moment before stopping, these guys are strong.  They're able to maintain a strong balance of offense & deffense & they have no weaknesses, but even so. I'm itching to test myself agaisnt them, with all the training i got from nagi it's time to put it o good use. Time to test this team's chemical reaction.

"Let's go you 2, again"

"I'm always ready to fight when you are yuki"

"Don't tell me what to do"

The game restarts i passed the ball to nagi for a moment & then he passed it back when i did, blind spots & off the ball, i have to intergrate these new factors so i just gotta study the field & pay more close attention. Allie & Enemies alike observe they're gazes even more precisely then before & then i can subtly understand what plays they will make, i pass the ball to barou once more. I tried to make Reo turn to face me & put his attention on me for a moment, then whe he did i charged & moved behind him & pride open a path to the goal. I tried to get barou to pass it to me but once again his doing things on his own, he completely ignored me. 

"Ha! the solo king huh? you're trying to hard to force it!!"

Kunigami quickly tripped & stole the ball from barou, again they stole it from us. This was starting to really annoy the hell out of me, nagi was still with chigiri but he caught my attention.

"Dammit... Let's head back yuki!! i'll do something about chigiri!! don't let reo get the ball!!"

"I know!! but...."

It's no use at this middle range if we let kunigami run freely, he'll smash right through us once again we couldn't stop them & they scored yet another goal putting us at 2-0.

Yeeaahhh!!! there we go"

Nagi walked up to barou & just glared at him.

"Hey barou.... cut it out already"

"Huh?"

"Yuki was wide open back there!! why didn't you pass!?!"

"Shut up! why would i pass just so she could score?"

Nagi just grew annoyed & got right in barou's face.

"Are you an idiot? there's no point if we don't win, i told you to pass the ball to yuki when she tells you to"

"No, we'll win with my goals. You 2 just need to play to make things easier for me!!"

I honeslty couldn't help but growl & grunt loudly at barou to which caught both nagi & his attention when they heard it, his screwing us over big time & it was pissing me the fuck off. My eyes glowed brightly red & my face expression showed nothing but rage, my monster had come out & glared at barou intensely. The black aura emitted from my body slightly just like before. Barou just growled back at me & glared, he can't see it so he only saw my angry expression.
