a child

I know this is your first time living too

I know you were not mature enough

You probably weren't ready

But now that i'm closer in age

To the age you used to be

I know that i would never do what you did

I would never do that to a child

I would never think to hurt a small child

A defenseless child

I used to look up to you

I used to make excuses for you

But now i know better

You should've done better

Been better

You don't deserve to be forgiven

You don't deserve my love or excuses

You made your bed ýou you must lie in it

You did this to yourself
