"Oh. Fuck."

After feeling Minji's warm, clammy forehead, Hanni felt her own. Was Minji triggered? Was she herself? The cloud of pheromones around her were making her feel drunk. Knowing she needed to act fast, Hanni decided to talk to the person who knew more and who she could trust more than anyone else - Danielle. But even though she knew talking to her sister was the clear next step, she couldn't make herself move. All she really wanted to do was wake Minji up and straddle her. And not necessarily in that order.

Well, guess that answers that question. Hanni thought. I better see about those damn hormone shots. It was still better than taking blockers and being flat out for 2 days. That would not be convenient for the full-court press the team planned for the media.

She put up her seat and made her way back to the row where Danielle and Haerin were curled up.

"Danielle. Danielle." Hanni whispered, trying to wake her without waking Haerin. But they were so close it was impossible. Eventually both women looked at her groggily, trying to figure out where they were.

"Hanni, what the hell?"

"Danielle. Do you have...I need you to..." Hanni stammered.

"Just spit it out."

"The hormone shots! For stopping a heat. I think Minji's triggered, and now I'm getting affected..."

"Where is she?" Haerin demanded.

"She's asleep. But I can...I can just tell."

"Hanni, I didn't bring the shots onboard! It's a pain in the ass at security trying to carry hypodermics into the passenger section. I put it all in my check-in. Anyway, I just gave them to you, you shouldn't be..."

"Fuck!" Hanni barked. "We'll just have to...damn. Blockers are going to knock me flat out for 2 days at least. Coach is going to kill me. Again."

"You really want to be sure, before you take them...Maybe you won't need to..." Haerin said, her eyes wide as she did the math.

"Hanni, it's OK." Danielle said. There was no point in reading her the riot act when there wasn't a damn thing to do about it. "Just...let's get you out of this section. Maybe Minji will just sleep it off and we can get you to ease off before it's too late..."

"Don't worry, I'll go sit with Minji in case she wakes up." Haerin spoke up.

"Right." Hanni said, sounding utterly dejected. The realization that she had to move away from Minji at a time like this just seemed impossibly wrong. Still, she knew she had to do what she could. She turned and marched towards the back of the plane.

Hanni breezed by her former seat, but did manage to take a moment to see what was happening between Yunjin and Kai. Despite her panic, her heart felt a warm squeeze at the sight of Yunjin asleep against the side of Kai's arm.

Once they reached the back, they sat together in a lounge-type area. It was small but had some seats, tables, and a small, untended bar. As soon as they sat, one of the staff came to check whether they needed anything.

"Two whiskeys. Straight." Danielle said as the attendant turned to go. "Might as well take the edge off."

As they sat drinking together, they saw Kazuha stepping out of the loo. Hanni thought she might have seen a blonde head in the aisle as well. Was that Ava? She couldn't be sure, and the figure disappeared quickly.

Kazuha looked around and noticed them sitting together and came towards them.

"I don't like the looks of this." Kazuha smirked with narrowed eyes. "Why are the Pham sisters back here plotting together in the middle of the night?"
