Chapter 12

Shawns POV
I jotted down some more lyrics but they sorta are eh. We almost have the song finished, I can't wait to sing it with Brooklyn.

I noticed that Brooklyn had finally arrived home and I was kinda spying on her. When I noticed she was finally done putting away the groceries, I went and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Are you doing anything?" I asked
"Um, no" Brooke said.
"Follow me then" I said

We arrived in the music room.
"I finished the song" I said
"Great, can I hear it" Brooklyn asked.
I started strumming my guitar and started singing

Brooklyns POV
"That sounded great" I said to Shawn after he finished playing his guitar.
"Thanks" he said pulling me into a hug.
"Your welcome" I said.
"When are we recording it? " I asked
"Sometimes next week, I suppose" Shawn said while sighing.

I was reading a book when someone knocked at the door. (ps it's like 10) l walked over there and peeked through the peek hole but l couldn't see anything. I opened up the door and saw a man in a black trench coat. He slowly pulled out a knife that was covered in blood. I screamed as loud as I could.  It was to late though.

Shawns POV
I heard Brooklyn scream, I ran downstairs and saw she got stubbed in the stomach.  I quickly called 911. Few minutes later I was riding In the back of an ambulance.

I woke up in the waiting room. The doctor walked up to me and told me she was awake. I walked over to her room and saw her.

"Hey" she said lightly.
"Hey" I said back trying to hold the tears in.
"Why exactly am l here?" She asked,
"Some random dude stabbed you in the stomach" I said
"Thanks for being here with me" she said to me making me blush a little bit.
"Anything for my princess" I said causing her to blush this time
"Here I'll go ask the doc if you can come home today." I said
She nodded and I went to find the doctor
I finally found him and asked him.  He said yes
I walked back in and told her the news.

We gathered her stuff and went and put it in the truck.
"Take it easy" l said
"I'll try" Brooklyn said
I chuckled and drove home.
