Did you know that the twinkling of bangles on a soft wrist sound eerily similar to windchimes ?
'I didn't know either,' he mused in a short-lived sigh before his eyes focused from her dainty yet shaky wrists to her teasing lock.
She hadn't spoken a word... What was she thinking ? 'I have to know!'
"Akshara...," he whispered, raising his brows at her soulful eyes again.
If his were honey, as she claimed them to be... hers were cinnamon... and dark chocolate... and burnt caramel. Sweet yet bitter if not relished with caution.
But even then her eyes were far more gentle than his ever could be. She was certainly wrong on that fact.
'Kya shoch rahi ho ?,' he meant to reiterate it as he tucked her terrific lock back behind her ear... grazing his finger down to her painfully dangly earing that distracted him.
Maybe it was for the better because she didn't see how his heart jumped out of his aghast lips when she placed her hands on his shoulders... and... she kissed his cheek.
__[Play BGM]__
He had kissed her cheek before... and that oddly sounded like a soulful ballad... a haunting melody.
But her's was like... windchimes, or maybe it was just her bangles... mixed with... bliss.
Words of his young soul... and his forgotten one.

For her lips were softer than dew drops...
melting into him... and he gasped.

Because his heart melted along with it...
and she felt... within reach... soft.
