15. Framed!

Aurora's POV

I looked at the man shocked and frozen in my place.
"He is dead!"
I mumbled in shock. I looked at his body, it was wounded badly and was heavily bleeding.

"He died on the spot!"
The man beside him screamed at me.
"You!"
He got up while fuming in anger.
"You are the same girl, right?"
He accused.
"You had an argument with him in the restaurant... You did it on purpose. You killed him!"

I shook my head furiously. I can't do this and that too for little argument. Has he gone crazy. It was an accident for god's sake!
My eyes turned glossy. No matter what, he died because of me.

"Excuse me, Mr. Whatever!"
Catherine gritted.
"You crazy fuckers were driving like you were snakes in past lives and you made us lose control... It's your fault and he was a piece of shit anyway."

I looked at Catherine.
"Don't say that about a dead person."
It sounds really bad but she is right, it was their fault that they were driving roughly.

Police and medical help arrived at the spot. They took the body with them and officers approached us.
"What happened here? We need everyone's statement."
The officer said.

"Officer, it's not an accident. She killed him. They had an argument this afternoon."
The man told the officers everything.

"It was an accident, you stupid bastard. Are you fucking dumb?"
Catherine yelled at him.

She shouldn't have done that because officers got offended.
"You both need to come to the station with us and you too..."
He looked at the man.

"Arrest them!"
The man demanded.

The officer grabbed my arm and his touch made me uncomfortable.
"You can't touch me... Call lady officer..."
I jerked off his hand.

"Don't show this attitude to me, bitch... You are already in trouble"
He grabbed my arm tightly making me hiss and pushed me in the car.

"What the hell, you can't touch her... This is against the rule..."
Catherine yelled at him.

"Don't teach me fucking rules..."
He threatened and forced us in the car.

Catherine looked at me helplessly and I looked at her hopelessly. Why this day is so fucked up?
I hope they believe us and let us go.

"Mr. Roy, are you okay?"
The officer asked the man who was sitting in front with him.

"I am fine, I just want these girls behind the bars... Put all possible charges on them, they shouldn't be coming out of the jail for the rest of their lives."
He ordered and it seemed like he knew the officer.

"Don't worry, Mr. Roy... I'll take care of that"
The officer said.

Catherine mouthed 'what the hell' at me. We understood that they were going to frame us.

We reached the police station and it was the same station which I approached to complain about Rafael. I know how the system here is corrupted and disabled. They are pawns of rich people.

We sat on the chairs and Catherine squeezed my hand gently to assure me but she herself looked scared.

The man was telling everything to the officers and most of the things were lies. He was trying to get us into trouble and when we were trying to talk, they were not letting us.

It was frustrating!

There was a noise of cars outside and a group of people entered. The lady in white mini dress and the man in a business suit, they were an old couple.
"Where is she?"
She yelled.
"Who killed my son?"
