Chapter 6

Jeff placed his guitar on the stands after finishing his performances. Throughout his singing his eyes scattering around looking for sight of Bible in the bar.

'He's not here today either'.

It's been a week. Since he meet Bible. Since they kissed. Well he made his move on the kiss. He feel stupid for doing so but glad he did.

Recalling the way Bible look at him and all the times they exchanging languages of flowers between themselves. He would be lying if he didn't saw love in Bible's eyes for him all this time. But the human didn't admit it. They really need to talk.

Jeff feel unsettled not knowing where Bible gone off too. Shop closed. No messages or updates about the class. He certainly doesn't want to think about Bible being dead. "Where are you, Bible?" he groaned.

Jeff makes his ways to the bar and sat down slouching. The bartender's face frowning, this past few days he notice Jeff seems agitated. "You're good, Jeff?" he asked while wiping the glass. "Yeah Sae, just something bothering me". The bartender grinned showing interest. "About what, someone?".

"Hah?!" he sat up straight, suprised he try his best to pretend to not look at Sae's eyes.

Bingo!

Sae narrowed his eyes, smirking "Hey no need to hide, I know everything going on here, and you! Don't think that I don't know what's going on with you and Bibs" the man pointing his finger at Jeff.

'Busted..Great'.

Sae chuckled "You're so obvious, even your song selections changes since you joined his class. Your eyes always looking at Bible when he's here. When he's absent your eyes went everywhere searching for him" he mimicked what Jeff did on stage as he talked. Jeff looked down, embarrass. He wish he could hide his face somewhere.

The bartender leaned forward with one arm rested on top of the counter. "Something happened with you two?". Jeff lays his cheek on counter. Few minutes of silence before Jeff starts to talk. "I... I did something to him... much to our surprise".

Sae's blood went cold upon hearing Jeff did something 'Oh no!' Sae whip out a napkin hitting Jeff "What did you do to Bible?!!" he hissed. Jeff jolted with Sae's sudden burst "Oww!! Easy man. I didn't do something that hurt him..I think I didn't" Jeff stares up to the ceiling thinking back what he did to Bible was harmless. It was just a kiss.

"Then what? Spill" Sae placed the glass on the shelf, avoiding breaking one during his outburst. He set his eyes on the vampire sitting here anticipating what his next words will be.

"I...I kissed him..". Sae widen his eyes, he thought that Jeff went overboard like turning Bible into one. "Ah. Did he take it well?" the vampire frowned shrugging his shoulder. "I guess, he was shocked and I want to talk to him about it but his shops always closed".

The bartender reached out his hands patting Jeff's shoulder "Well I hope you both able to talk it out. I'm sure Bible would like that too" Sae gazed at Jeff. He got so many to things to tell Jeff about Bible. But it is better for him to let them handle it. Let him hear from Bible's mouth himself.

They are clearly in love just like how his parents were; vampire and human, together. So here he sensing it again on this two. Love between vampires and human is acceptable. Some humans either choose to change or stayed as humans till the end with their vampire spouse. Maybe that's where their path will be.

However, Bible is not a typical human with good happy life. His past scarred him, so is his hatred for vampire. A major drawback to their relationship. Even now Bible still do hate the cold ones but he gotten soft lately. Mainly due to Jeff? Those days where Bible keep on asking him about Jeff. It was so cute of him.

Sae placed Jeff drinks and the vampire sighed staring at the ice floating in the drinks.

Jeff walked out of the bar and saw Bible with someone. The man was taller than him with brunette hair. A familiar face. His ears could hear Bible's sobbing. Jeff stared ahead with serious look, he didn't sense any danger from the man.

The man hugs the crying man into his broad chest and Bible instantly melt towards him, taking the comforts. They both seems close and too comfortable with each other looking at how Bible didn't move away when he got gentle brush on his hair.

"Are you sure you will be alright?" the shorter guy nodded "Could you give me a ride home and stay. I don't want to be alone tonight". The tall guy nodded holding Bible's hand towards his car and take Bible to sit on passenger side. The man walked to the driver side and looked at Jeff.

They exchange silence stare for few seconds. He could sense hate from the man but Jeff didn't feel intimidate by it. He stands his ground. The man then get into his car and drive away.

Jeff waited till the car disappeared into the road. He was curious about the man. What he meant to Bible considering how close, very close they are. And why was Bible crying?
