In Any Lifetime I'll Find You

Chapter 8

*Jeff's memory*

They both laying on the bed. 

"That night when I saw you dying I couldn't stand watching you die. Not when I'm already madly in love with you. You're are my everything. I'm sorry I was selfish for turning you into a vampire without your consent" Bible brushed Jeff's soft hair with his finger. "You don't need to apologize for what you did to me". 

Jeff tilted his head up from Bible's chest "At first, I hate you for that..but it's all in the past..Turns out its not bad after all.". Bible holds Jeff's cheek gently and look at him sweetly "I got my second chance in life and I get to be with you eternally". Bible kissed Jeff's head, earning a sweet laugh from his love. 

"Just don't you dare let anyone even yourself end your life...Wait until it's your time okay? I want to follow you". 

*Memory end* 

Bible flutter his eyelids open, staring at the ceiling. An unfamiliar places. He about to push himself up, but freeze when he feel something heavy on his left hand. He look down to find Jeff sleeping on top of it, holding his hand. 'Oh Jeff..' Bible saw trail of tears on Jeff's face "What you dreaming about?". He lifted his other hands to stroke his hair. "Love..." he heard Jeff mumble it out. "You're dreaming about him..? If only I could replace it...". After few strokes, Jeff suddenly twitched a little and Bible halt his movement. 

"Hmm" Jeff straighten up, rubbing his eyes. A sight of Bible looking at him, wide awake cause him to launch forward hugging Bible. "You're awake!!" Jeff let out a relief sigh. He's been worried about Bible. Afraid of losing him again. Bible wonders why Jeff acted like he'd been fighting for his life. 'I meant something to him?' a smile appear on his face. 

Jeff reached out to check his forehead. Bible heart skipped a beat and slowly blush when he look at Jeff's focused face. Jeff could feel sudden rise of temperature in his cold palm  'Weird..Didn't his temperature dropped before'. He pull his hands away and stare at Bible. "...Are you hungry?, I made some porridge".

Bible nodded his head, his eyes following Jeff as he head his way towards the kitchen. Bible slowly sit up and his eyes wonder around the place and stopped at the blanket. It took him a moment to realise he is in Jeff's shirts, he smiled sheepishly sniffing the fabric that holds Jeff's scent.  He felt something odd, he reach up his wounded arm to find it no longer bandaged 'It healed?!'. 

The human was startled when Jeff came holding a tray with a bowl of porridge, water and medicine. "Here" Jeff placed the tray on his lap then when to put pillows behind Bible's back. The vampire went to sit on a single couch watching Bible eating. Smiling contentedly.
Bible bite the spoon and look at Jeff "Ummm..Thank you for saving me". Jeff nodded "No problem, I'm glad he didn't do anything to hurt you". 

Bible continue to eat while Jeff played with his finger, doubting whether this is a good time to talk about their kiss. 

"Is it alright for us to talk about something?". Bible nodded, he is well enough to focus on the topic they want to talk about. ".. About what happen last time I-". "I'm not mad at you.." Bible cutted him seeming to know what Jeff talking about.  Jeff's mouth gaped open "B-but I suddenly kiss you.. since your flower arrangement.. kind of telling me about your feelings and I thought..y-you feel the same way..as I do" Jeff explained nervously. 

"I do...Jeff?" Bible put his spoon down and looking at Jeff, "I'm about to do something crazy..but please hear me out first". Jeff nodded. "I don't have good expression towards vampires because they took my parents away. I hate your kind so much. This thought of how we just food for you disgust me". Bible moves his spoon, scooping and dropping his food back, playing with it. 

"But, you are not like what I thought a vampire would be, you're different..?". Jeff gaze into Bible's eye when their eyes meet. "I mean.. I might be bias but you're my first vampire I got close too...I feel comfortable around you..it's funny how sometimes I feel like I'd known you forever". A pleasant smile passed on Bible's face. 

That was it. 

Jeff stand up, taking the tray away from Bible before settle down beside Bible's leg. Jeff's eyes were teary and he gathers Bible's hand on his, cherishing it with his whole heart. The way how Jeff makes his way to his heart, he couldn't push it away anymore. After how Jeff took care of him, how could he possibly not love him. 

He surely go to hell for betraying his parents and his boss. But whatever, Bible will fight. It is his life. If this is his destined lover then he will go for it "I don't know if it will work out because I've something.. that I'm not ready to tell you yet..for now I'm willing to give it a go". Jeff holds up their hands and kiss Bible's knuckles. 'My life will be on the line, Jeff' he silently thought. 

Jeff's shoulder shakes, choking in his tears. The words that he'd been wanting to hear, he got it. He began to believe that in this life they can be together again. "I..I waited for you Bible. I'm so happy..I would risk it all for you so that we could be together". Bible's heart got touched and he leans forward to place a kiss tenderly on Jeff's forehead. "Me too". 
Bible cradled Jeff's cheek in his hands, wiping his tears "Stop crying now, this is second times already". Jeff's giggle "Alright". 

Bible admire every little detail on Jeff's face; his eyes, nose and his kissable lips. Taking it all and keeping it inside his mind. Bible give a quick peck on his lips. He draw his face back and saw Jeff pouted his lips. It wasn't enough. 

The vampire moves closer, their face few inches apart. Jeff's eyes glued to Bible's lips then he look at those beautiful eyes. He let their nose rubbed against each other, noticing that this gesture relaxed Bible a little. The human unconsciously dropped both his hand, bracing for what Jeff will do next. This is new and way more than the kissed they had at his shop.

The both intensely look at each other, observing how both their pupils dilated. Thudding of their heartbeats could be heard, each beats filled the loves inside their hearts. Bible could feel Jeff's breath on his face, making him crave for more. Jeff holds Bible's chin, his gaze hungrily at that pink lips. He can't wait to taste it again. This time he will give it the best treatment that juicy lips deserve. Jeff pull it up for a kiss, capturing Bible's bottom lips into his mouth. Giving long and deep suckle that made Bible's heart jumped. Jeff let it go with a little pop. Bible let out a sigh, his lips parted asking for more. 

Jeff smiled, he went back again this time licking Bible's lips before pressing their lips together again. With every kiss Jeff moisten their lips. Making their kiss wet and it made soft little noise everytime their lips move. Bible parted his lips a little and Jeff arched his tongue to lick the curve of Bible's upper lips, teasing him to open his mouth wider. Bible did as told then he gasped, when he felt Jeff's tongue touches his. Giving it a gentle stroke, Bible moaned into the kiss over how good it felt. 

Jeff is so experienced in this, he could passed out. The vampire could feel Bible melted into the kiss, probably too intense for their first true kiss. Jeff broke away first, panting as he leaned their foreheads together. Bible struggle to get his breathing back as he look at Jeff. 

"We need to work on your kiss, Bible". Bible laughed, soft and delighted. Winding his arms around Jeff's neck pulling him close. Letting Jeff's weight pressing on him. He love it.
