Two tall man stood in a dark room, with the street lights lighten up the small space. “Do you think he will be able to do it sir?”. The older man place the cigarette on his mouth steadily breath in and puffing out the smoke.

“I know Bible will have trouble to decide..but if he didn't do it..I believe you know what to do” Luke walk towards the window staring down at the busy street. “Do we have to put him through this..?” the other man asked, hesitation could be heard in his question.

“..Did you have change of heart now..? You provide me with this information..It's too late now" the older man turned his back, facing the other. “I was once just like Bible, I was in love with one but my heart got broken beyond repair by that vampire. It cost me a lots and I never..want that to happen again. Ever..Which is why I banned any relationship with vampires in my organization”.

He put out the cigarette on an ashtray. “This had to be done..I don't know what made Bible fall for one..He broke the contract and I don't want to lose my son to a being I despise the most".

Bible walked up to the entrance flipping the sign ‘closed' and he turned around to cleared up some part of the shop. A brush of wind and familiar scent surrounds him for a moment. Rather than being in a fighting mode, he just stood still. He knows who it is.

His boyfriend here if that's still legit after their one side argument which ended with Bible running out of Jeff's place. He did his best to avoid seeing Jeff since then. Looking at Jeff's face hurts his heart which is why he didn't go to the bar even though he missed his boyfriend's singing. Even Sei called him to know what’s up with them both.

Disappointment still lingers in his heart. Now Jeff is here with him.

What does the vampire want now?

Ready to confess everything?

Fix the problem?

If he is, he hope that Jeff won't say something to hurt him more. Enough that Jeff already made Bible thinks he is replacing Jeff's deceased fiancé. When Jeff didn't answer him, all Bible could think of was that it is all a lie.

Jeff. The first vampire he got close too. The first vampire he is in love with and willing to dive into danger for.

Losing his parents to a vampire already painful enough. Now his love life hurting him too. Vampires really not being kind to him.

“..You want to hurt me more? Your ‘I’s and silence was good enough thank you” Bible said clearing up the counter with his back still facing Jeff.

Jeff stared at Bible's back, wishing the latter would look at him at least. He wished he could go and stand beside Bible. Taking his warm hands into his, pulling Bible towards him. Giving the best hugs he sure Bible loves so much.

But any physical touch now might not be the right time to do so. His silence hurted Bible. He swore he would never hurt Bible in anyway but he did it yet again. Jeff didn't expect Bible to come across his secret room. He should have let it go when he got Bible.

“No..”

Bible sighed out over Jeff's very short response ‘What does he want??’. His mind clicked ‘Aah, roses. He came to buy roses since I smashed his vase’. He bitterly imagine that Jeff bought new vase to fill it with new roses for his beloved late fiancé. The man who so much look like him. Jeff will be smiling at that portrait. His fingers decorating the roses, reminiscing about their memories together.

The worst part is, it's not with him. It should be with him in this life. All this while he had been packing the rose for that dead man.

‘Stupid of me. But I didn't know..’.
