MARVEL and Clove's stories were quite different on the other hand.
Clove had said she liked him but at the same time didn't like him. She felt that it wasn't time yet and when it was she would accept him into her life.
Marvel on the other hand just thought it was best to end his relationship before the games. He explained that if he died in the games Glimmer wouldn't feel hurt. But Astrid and Annabeth realized it only made Glimmer feel more heartbroken.

Rue was walking to the pavilion and spotted the others with Astrid, Annabeth and Aurora. She was very jumpy as if she was excited.
"Guys! Katie showed me all these beautiful plants this morning and they were glowing!" Rue said with goo-goo eyes.
Thresh sighed like he was annoyed but eventually a smile rose to his face. I mean she is his sister after all he couldn't hate her.
The whole group laughed. I mean it's quite relieving to see them smile, especially the careers.
