"Don't stop me. This is the best for everyone."
I said and pass through them. I came out of chamber and without turning back move towards the east wing.
"You are going to live in east wing?"
Rma asked me in pure shock. I decide not to reply because I know they will again try to stop me....which i don't want and move forward as I was about to step inside, rma held my wrist from behind and muttered.
"This place is not meant for you."
I listened to her hurtful voice and gulped the lump in my throat. I remove her hand from my wrist and look forward before saying,
"Only this place is meant for me."
And stepped inside.
It was a busy place, as it was daylight everyone was doing there daily chores in varanda while all laughing and giggling. Some were mature ladies but most of them were young girls. Maybe in there twenties.
I couldn't help but my thoughts went to ranasa. Does he come here? Did he ever sleep with any of them? They all are his mistress if I say so, and they all are beautiful and young, maybe before me he use to sleep with them? Or not?
Thinking him with someone else was tearing my heart. Royals do have desire for women if I'm not wrong. But ranasa is not a womanizer. He can't sleep with anyone.
Yes, he don't!
I shook my useless thoughts from my head and took some step forward and finally they felt my presence. The whole area went silent in a moment.
Some were looking at me wide eyes, in pure sock while some were looking happy, smiling with there eyes. They joined there hands and bow a little greeting me in sync,
"Khama Ghani ranisa."
I greet them back with a smile and nodded my head. A lady in her early 40s came forward and stand opposite to me at decent distance.
"Ranisa aap yha? Koi galti ho gyi k maare se?"
("Ranisa, you here? Did we make any mistake?")
She asked me looking down at her joined hands. All the ladies present behind her were murmering something to each other. I look at the lady and shook my head,
"Aisi koi baat nhi h, bs aap sb k sath rhne ki icha hui toh aa gye"
("It's nothing like that, I just came here. To be with everyone.")
I said smiling and as I completed my sentence a trail of gasp left their mouth. The murmmers went loud and the lady look at me wide eyes.
"Yh ke keh rhi h aap ranisa. Je jgh aapke liye na h. Ranaji is poore mahal ne jla devenge, Agr unko pta lgo ki aap yha rh rhi hai."
("What are you saying ranisa? This place is not suitable for you. Hukum will set the entire palace on fire if he came to know about this.")
She speak with her fearful and surprised tone, the fear in her eyes was telling that she is not just saying. He can do this. I never knew he is feared this much in kingdom. He was always soft around me, but outside the chamber this is the real ranasa.
