Aarav's POV:

I was waiting in front of her house for the last 30 minutes in my car.

When I returned from California, the first thing I wanted to do was meet her!

Only I know how hard it was for me to stop myself from coming back the second she touched herself... it was all testing my patience!

"Come fast, Angel!" I muttered. I wanted to make sure she was okay and feel her presence by my side.

Finally, she came out! She was wearing a pink crop top and pink joggers, with a ponytail.

The way she walked, taking small steps toward my car with her hands folded behind her back like a little kid... ah, my Angel!

Her hips and chest rising and falling as she moved, gosh, this girl is going to be the death of me.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on my window.

I unlocked the door, and she got in and sat down. I turned my face towards the road and started the car.

Neither of us said anything at first. After driving for 5 minutes, she finally broke the silence.

"Where are we going?"

"At Agnihotri Palace "

Her eyes widened, and she turned towards me.

"Why? Isn't he already dead?"

A smile came to my lips because of her bluntness.

"Awesome... first time I've seen someone talking about a dead man so casually"

She rolled her eyes and sat back down.

"How was your trip?" she asked while looking out of the window.

I didn't reply!

"Ah, of course. How could you answer that question when you were so busy stalking me through cameras" she said sarcastically, then fell silent.

After a few minutes, I decided to speak.

"I was in the middle of my meeting."

She suddenly turned to me, eyes wide and an eyebrow raised in surprise. "And you were watching me?"

"I always do! I keep my tab open 24/7. While keeping an eye on you and your actions, I was also attending my meeting."

The moment those words left my mouth, she fell silent. I noticed a gulp in her throat and could sense her nervousness.

She turned her face towards the window and started staring out.

After a few minutes, she reached into the back seat for a water bottle, and my eyes fell on her wrists.

The moment I saw those brusises, anger surged through me. I slammed on the brakes suddenly.

"What the-" Her words were cut off as I grabbed her wrists and pulled her a bit closer.
