Sana's POV:

As I stepped out of my car, my mind was occupied with thoughts of the day ahead. As I was crossing the road towards my office, a faint request caught my attention. I turned to see an elderly woman struggling to pass the busy street.

Without a second thought, I rushed to her side offering my assistance. With trembling hands she clung to my arm as we inched our way across the road.

But then, out of nowhere a car hurtled towards us, its engine roaring like a beast unleashed.

Instinct took over as I pushed the elderly woman to safe side, my heart pounding in my chest. Time seemed to slow as memories of past accidents flooding my mind, haunting me ...

But just as the car was about to strike, a strong arm wrapped around my waist pulled me back from the brink of disaster.

As I stood there, paralyzed by fear and shock, unable to move from the spot where danger had almost consumed me, His voice cut through the silence like a lifeline.

"What the hell were you thinking?" His words were harsh, laced with a mixture of anger and concern as he took in the scene before him.

"Do you have any idea how close you came to getting yourself killed?"

I opened my mouth to speak, to offer some feeble explanation for my reckless actions, but no words would come..i kept my eyes close not wanting to face reality...My mind was a whirlwind of confusion and terror, trapped in a nightmare from which I couldn't wake..

Suddenly his gaze softened as he took a step closer.. his hand reaching out to steady me as I trembled in the aftermath of the near miss.

"Hey, hey, it's okay," he murmured, his voice a soothing balm against the chaos raging inside me. "Take deep breaths. You're safe now Miss Sana"

I found myself face to face with the stranger who had just saved my life..Slowly, I opened my eyes, my gaze meeting his. And there he was, Aarav.

But even his gentle words couldn't remove the memory of the car hurtling towards us haunting my every thought.
I tried to move, to step away from him but my legs refused to obey...

"Sana, look at me," he urged, his voice firm yet gentle. "You're going to be okay. I won't let anything happen to you."

His words were like a lifeline, And as I met his gaze, I saw something there, something i couldn't understand ....

As I snapped out of my thoughts, I realized how close I was to Aarav. His shirt was clutched in my trembling hands, his touch sending shivers down my spine as he tried to soothe my frayed nerves.

I quickly pulled away, the realization hitting me like a punch to the gut. Without a word of thanks or acknowledgment, I stumbled away from him, my mind spinning with confusion and frustration.

What the hell was I doing? Why did I feel so safe in his arms, so drawn to him despite the danger and the chaos that surrounded us? It was maddening, the way his eyes held mine with such intensity, as if they could see straight through the walls I had built around myself.

It was frustrating, infuriating even, how he had managed to slip past my defenses with such ease.

With a frustrated sigh, I hurried towards my office, desperate to escape the situation. I needed time to process what had happened, to make sense of the mess I've created around me.

As I settled into my office chair, trying to shake off the lingering thoughts of Aarav and the unsettling encounter on the road, a knock at the door jolted me back to reality.
