Aarav's POV
The sound of a vase shattering echoed through the hall. Yes, right now, I’m in the mansion with my father.
“Have you lost your mind? All this... for her? For that fucking bitch?"
I’ve been holding back my anger for so long, but now it’s impossible to control myself anymore. I’m this close to punching him right in the face!
"Say one more word about her, and I swear, I’ll be the one to declare a fucking war on you."
I know he's furious about the news that came out a few days ago about Sana and my engagement. But I couldn’t care less about what he thinks or wants. He already destroyed my childhood—and Sana’s too. Right now, I don’t give a fuck about him.
The man who was supposed to protect me was too busy torturing me, turning me into a weapon, a shield for his own dirty deals.
Every time I look into his eyes, the pain of those belt lashes haunts me. I can still hear my own screams when he pressed those burning cigarettes against my skin. It all comes rushing back.
"Trust me She'll be the reason for your death Aarav."
"Believe me, I'd give my life for her without hesitation."

Wild Cat - ( location) Be here in the next 45 Mins.
Seriously? That’s the text she sent me? God, what am I going to do with this girl? Here I am, trying to figure out the whole Ishan and my father situation, and she’s bossing me around like it’s nothing. She really has some nerve!
But honestly, I can’t help but love this attitude of hers. It makes me smile, even when I’m stressed.

I finally reached the location, and I’m so shocked because this place is nothing like I expected. It’s an ashram for abandoned children.
I look around and see the smiling faces of the teachers who seem to be waiting for me. But why is it so quiet here? Where are the children?
I adjust my tie and take a deep breath, then walk toward them. After greeting everyone, they point me in the direction where Sana is.
When I knocked on the door and opened it, all the smiling faces turned to look at me. My breath caught in my throat, and I couldn’t move. They were all staring at me, but what caught my eye was her.
She was kneeling in the middle, holding a little baby on her lap and gently stroking her. All the kids were around her, and the way she smiled—oh my god. I had never seen anyone so beautiful. Her eyes were full of kindness, her cheeks were pink, and her smile was amazing. In that moment, I knew she would be the death of me.
I cleared my throat, and when her brown eyes met my grey ones, it felt like time stood still. How could she have such a powerful effect on me without even trying? I bet she doesn’t even realize the impact she has on me. This is the same girl whose childhood I destroyed, and now she’s here, working to heal these little children, even though she’s the one who is truly broken.
She smiled at me, and I took a step closer until I was standing right in front of her. Just then, a little boy, maybe six years old, came up and grabbed my finger. I knelt down to his level.
“Uncle, do you know her?” he asked, pointing at Sana. I chuckled and glanced at her. Our eyes met again, but this time neither of us was smiling.
The boy patted my hand, snapping me back to reality. “Okay, I get it. You don’t know her. Let me introduce you.”
