"Dude where are u even going-"

"Just gonna meet a very close friend for the first time." I said while fixing my hair.

"How can someone be a 'very close friend' when you're meeting that person for the first time?"

"He's an online friend of mine ok. He used to live in the US but he recently moved to korea."

"It's a he? Ok now you're going to a blind date for sure."

"I told you, he's just a friend. And we're for the very first fucking time."

"Sheesh someone's getting aggressive... do you even know how he looks?" 

"Yea he sent a pic. And honestly I have to say he is one fine looking guy."

"Oh really? You calling a guy good looking from after you broke up? I need to see this dude."

"Sure. If you want to." I open my phone and my discord followingly, showing her the picture of himself he sent me.

"Well I admit, he is good looking. But you know what he reminds me of someone...but I really can't put a finger  who..."

"Oh wait he's calling.. oh damn he's calling-" I snap at realization.

"You've never spoke to him before? like no voicemails?"

"I have but very briefly. Wait I need to take this call."

"Have you even thought about looking at the time even once? You're late. Where are you even?" Said the voice from the other side of the phone.

"Sorry man my friend here was disturbing me for  a pretty long while..."

"What? What did i do-"

"Ok so where are you?"

"I'm still at my dorms but I'll be there soon. the place is pretty close to where my dorm is."

"Okay then. you're luck I'm patient. See yo then."

"Yea bye.."

"Thanks for making me late sucker, I gotta go now. Later loser." I say as I grab my purse and wiggle my fingers at her, signaling a 'bye'.

"I'm here, but I don't see you. Where the fuck are you."

"I'm pretty close. Try a bit harder." He said, sounding extremely cheeky.

"Dude are we playing hide and seek? cause you're pretty damn good at it." I said through the phone.

"Why welcome. so should I reveal myself?"

"Please I'm dying."

"Ok then, 3, 2, 1."

I jerked up, suddenly feeling a pair of hands wrap around my eyes.
"Guess who?"

"Lemme guess. The hide and seek world champion?"

"Correct. And you must be the princess of sass."

"Queen actually."

"I sincerely apologize your sassiness." He says as he bows down in a teasing manner.

"Apology accepted. Now run along peasant."

We both burst out laughing at that comment. To be honest, I didn't expect to get along so well the first time we met. In my mind this little meet up would be very awkward, judging from past experiences. But it wasn't. It was fun, we talked like we did it discord, and all of it (unexpectedly) came out naturally. It wasn't awkward, like at all. And I liked that. It was nice to finally talk to someone who I've never actually met before but way we had a conversation sounded like we've known each other for ages.

"Anyways back to reality. Look at you! But I have to say, you look better in them pictues then in real life...catfish.." I teased him sarcasticly, trying to get him slightly annoyed.

"Not cool man...not cool..."

"Just kidding man you're good." I said, reassuring him.

"Fine fine. We really should go to that hotpot place now. Cause if you look at the time, you'll see that we're already 37 minutes late ma'am."

"Ok ok peasant I won't waste much more of your time. Now let's get going shall we?"

I lend my arm forwards, anticipating for him to take it.

"Oh so I'm the little princess here?"

I hum in response, still waiting for him with my arm in a static position.

But to my surprise, he didn't take it, instead he drove his arm under mine, making it look like he was offering it to me in the first place.

"But you know what? I always prefer being the prince."
