Chapter 31

I need to know now,
Can you love me again?

"You said you wanted a second chance right? So let's start over." I said, as loud as so no one could but him could hear me.

"Thank you." He said, looking at me as he smiled back. It for some reason warmed my heart, and it made me feel something else, some familiar but couldn't really figure out what it was.
"So should we start?" He said out loud.

"we should.."
"Ok then.." he said, as he warmed up. "I start at 3, 2, 1" He said and started his part following what, I also did.

"Wow you guys are amazing!" The guy who had suggested this whole thing exclaimed. 
"You two look so cute together!" A random girl said from a corner, everyone searched for her, but remained unsuccessful.

"I think someone might be experiencing a little case of deja vu~" He whispered, tilting his head at my direction.
"You think?" I said, making him chuckle a bit.

"Uhm everyone should get going it's getting pretty late, plus, we have a long day ahead of us." One of the students in charge said, as a lot of people started getting up and leaving. But I sat there for a bit longer, until not many were still around. I was waiting for him to say something, and after a few minutes of silence, started giving up and stood up. But right then, he stopped me by taking hold of my wrist.

"Hey wait a sec..." He said, letting go of my wrist as soon hat as he got my attention, and got up himself. "You know Elysia?" 
"Oh yea, we met on the bus and shit talked about you ofcourse." I uttered the truth, but in a sarcastic manner.

"Ofcourse you did..."
"You know I was pretty damn wrong about you."

"What did I do now..." He mumbled to himself.
"You did change even if the slightest..."
"Is that a compliment?"
I shrugged. "You can consider it as whatever."

"But honestly, it's pretty impressive how you could play both piano and cello and now guitar too.."
"Uhm..thanks..." 
"Why did you learn it in the first place though? You were doing pretty good at the rest." I asked.
"Cause I thought I'd teach it to you one day." He said, looking at me.

"Wh-what?" I accidentally stutter.
"Remember? When I once asked if you wanted to learn the cello, you said you didn't. You said for me to learn the guitar first then teach it to you." He smiled, but it displayed stops of nostalgia and ......sadness? 

March 19th, 2021

She was looking around his room, waiting for him to come back from the bathroom. At that moment, her eyes fell on a big and royal looking instrument placed in his room. It was his cello. She put a finger on it's string, and trailed it down, admiring the instrument.

"You want to learn it?" He asked. She didn't notice him coming back, making her a bit startled as her head twitched while turning around.
"Gosh you scared me." She said to which he chuckled and walked closer, ruffling her hair as soon as he got close enough. "In my opinion, the cello is too sophisticated to learn, so learn to play a guitar first and then teach me." She smile, to which he replied with another chuckle. He knew she said it just as a joke but now he was determined to learn it.

"Fine then, I'll work on learning it, happy?"
"I was just joking you know-"

"Mhm, but I still wanna do it now, and I'll teach you after. And I don't wanna hear anything other than that, okay?"

She lets out a laugh, one mostly filled with gratefulness and pure happiness more than amusement.
"You know you're a bit extra but that's what I love about you." She falls onto his chest, wrapping her arms around him as he did the same.

"I love you more." 

"Ofcourse I do...how could I not..." I looked away, as a pink-ish blush spread across my cheek.
"I..better go the others are gonna bug me a lot if I don't.." He said, to which I was...annoyed? It annoyed me, the fact that we were having a nice little conversation and suddenly he decides to leave...it gave me bad flashbacks. But as soon as I thought that, I questioned myself, why was I annoyed when he wanted to leave? Why did I want him to stay longer?

"Uhm so...see you around I guess.." He said pursing his lips as he waved a goodbye, and I waved back. "bye.." I said before he started walking in the opposite direction, and disappearing soon enough.

"I knew it, you still like him don't you!" Seunghan said, appearing out of the blue and placing a hand on my shoulder, making me jolt in terror.
"OH MY GOD SEUNGHAN YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME WHERE DID YOU COME FROM-"
"Dude calm down I was here the whole time-"

"Anyways, what do you want?"
"My thank you."
"Or I can tell Eunseok oppa about this."
"I did you a favor and you'll tell on me? Nahh this ain't it.." Seunghan pouted.
"You know you look really shit when you do that."
"Fvck off." He hit me on the head playfully.
