𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ✧ 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐞

Chapter 36

"So? What'd he say?" Elysia asked as I got close to them.
"He said that the kids incharge would tell us to line up after a few secs or something. They haven't started it yet I guess."

"They did now." Xiumi said as a student spoke into the mic and told everyone to line up according to their bus number.
"Where do we line up tho-" Haeyoon asked.
"Oh shit- I forgot to ask him about that..hehe.."
"Isn't a problem. We can just follow them." Ahyun proposed. Where did this girl come up with such good ideas from?

"Sure then let's get going before they leave us in the dust." Elysia said, as the six of us followed after them.

We reached the line, and not so surprisingly, I ended up behind him. Maybe that happened because the rest of the girls pushed me infront of them, but who knows🤷🏻‍♀️.
(The lining went like: Taesan, Baekseung, Yushi, Anton, Choyeon, Elysia, Ahyun, Yiran, Haeyoon, Xiumi, Ricky)

I was having my awkward time at the front while in the back, the guy named Ricky kept flirting with Xiumi, her looking like she would slap him any moment now. (He ended up in the back cause bitj forgot his phone🤦🏻‍♀️)

I wanted to get over with getting onto the bus as soon as possible since I knew that the seating was gonna be the same as before. But guess who was wrong? Me. Turns out the seating was going to be according to who was behind or infront of you in the line. And as luck would have it, I ended up beside Anton, and since he was infront of me, he got the window seat.

Why wasn't he with Yushi? Cause Taesan, who knew about this, sat with his girlfriend who was infront of him, leaving Baekseung and Yushi to sit together, resulting in me and Anton to sit together.

But someone who was a million times more done than me was Xiumi. She basically begged to not sit next to Ricky but to no avail.

"Uhm...do you wanna sit on that side..? I mean.. only if you want to...just saying cause you always used to sit there..." He hesitated. But what I saw was that he remembered. And more than that, he cared.

"I mean...don't you want that seat?"
"I'm okay, we can switch. That didn't say anything about getting the aisle seat or the window seat." He smiled. He then got out, making way for me to squeeze myself into his seat as he sat on mine.
"Is that better?"
"Yeah, thanks.." I thanked, adjusting my sitting position to a more comfortable one.

The bus started, and I solely had one motive, which was to not make things any more awkward between us.

Not too long into the ride, I started yawning, thinking 'how long would it take to reach our destination?' 'could I take a short nap in the meantime?'

"Uhm...you seem tired...you can take a nap you know, it'll take a while to get there.." he suggested.
"Oh..I guess ..thanks again..." I said, as I leaned my head against the window frame, but couldn't keep it there due to the vibration of the bus, eventually trying to fall asleep while sitting straight, and somehow, managed to.

Third person Pov

She slowly started to fall asleep, but his eyes kept a still focus on her. As soon as she slightly falls asleep, he tilted her head so it would now be on his shoulder. He wanted her to be comfortable, but other than that, he couldn't stop himself from creeping a hand around her waist, just like he used to do back when they were together.

He looked at her, she was deep asleep, no sign of waking up anytime soon. He smiled at it. She looked absolutely gorgeous and adorable at the same time. How could someone be like that? He didn't know, but he still admired it.

A few minutes later, he himself started yawning and his eyelids started closing. Unconsciously, he lightly placed his head over hers.

He didn't really pay attention to their surroundings, but their surroundings paid attention to them. Once they were both asleep, one of the kids at the back took a picture of them, and it wasn't long until it ended up in their university group chat.

Someone uploaded a picture of them, titling it 'the new trending couple'. But they didn't know that yet.

Choyeon's Pov

"Uhm...hey Choyeon...wake up, we're almost there..." He said, very slightly nudging me just so I manage to wake up.
"Oh..ok.." I said sitting up straight, rubbing my eyes as I adjust to this environment.

After a little while, my brain started to work again and I suddenly realized something.
After I woke up, I had to sit straight. Meaning that I wasn't sleeping straight this whole time. And since I couldn't rest my head on the window frame, it only meant one thing.

I leaned onto his shoulder.

"Shit.." I mumbled to myself before turning to him.

"Hey Anton...did I by any chance.. keep my head on your shoulder..?"
"Oh yea but it's-"
"Oh, my god I am so sorry, like I didn't do it on purpose...I must've done it in my sleep..." I panicked.

"Oh no it wasn't you, you looked uncomfortable so I did it."
