Chapter 20

"Watch out man are you blind?" Sungchan shouted, the protective brother mode inside him getting turned on.

"I'm sorry uhm, I didn't mean to hit this way.." Anton said, apologetically.

"It's ok.. it's no biggie..." I say, scratching the back of my neck, making sure not to make eye contact with him.

"Compared to what else he's done-"

"Seunghan how many fvcking times did I tell you to keep your shit hole of a mouth shut?"

"Why what happened?" Sungchan said, confused. I didn't tell him about any of my backstory with Anton, cause I knew if I told him, it wouldn't take him a second to snap Anton's neck in half. All he knew was that we dated, but he seemingly forgot all about that too.

"Nothing. You know him, this moron keeps blabouring the most random shit ever without knowing if it's fully verified or not." I defended. Unlike Sungchan, Seunghan knew. I kept in touch with him more simply because of the fact that our age gaps weren't that big, him being the second and me being the youngest in our entire family. He was kinda like my second best friend after Jihye, meaning I told him everything. And everything as in literally EVERYTHING. I discussed family issues with him, school and friendship problems, and sometimes even just random school gossips which I didn't feel like keeping to myself. So it was more than normal for him to know about Anton. And another thing about him, he was a giant snitch. But thankfully he never snitched on me. But it felt like this time, he was willing to.

"That sounds suspicious..." Sungchan eyed us as I stood there looking scandalously awkward and Seunghan decided to make the situation even better by speaking again.

"Isn't it though?" 

"Seunghan for fvck's sake, shut up for once will ya?"

Instead of relying he put up his hands in the air signaling an 'I give up' with a bigass smirk on his face, to which I casually roll my eyes. Anyone with common sence would be able to understand that Sungchan had atleast had a little suspicion of what was happening between us. But he didn't question it. And amidst all of this drama, Anton excused himself, with an excuse that his friends were calling him. What an outro, coward. But that wasn't my question. Why was he even there? The last time I checked, he was into swimming, not basketball...

"What period do you have next?" Seunghan asked, his voice showing no interest at all.

"Magnet." A groan escaped my mouth.

"That sucks. Like why would someone ever pick physics? That's the shittiest subject someone could ever find."

"Oh shut up."

"What do y'all mean that y'all didn't sign up for the trip!" I cried.

"We didn't know that you were going. Like you should have told us before you know-"

"Shut the fvck up Jaesung, I thought y'all would know cause it's a trip for all majors, only 1000 won per person, food and housing included, and the place is fvcking aesthetic. Like come on, it's Jeju island!" I said, disappointed with a pout. "At least one of y'all need to come with me, please?"

"We would Yeon but I don't have any idea where to sign up, who to ask and even if it's still available to register for it. So I'm sorry girl, but I don't think that any of us can come. Aren't any of your friends from your major going?"

"All of the people going are shit. Yireum has a family event to attend and Kira ain't even a little interested. And now I have no idea what to do... Like I don't even know where to go to cancel my name." I cried once again.

"Looks like someone needs to more friends-"

"I swear Jae one more word from you and I am Soo burning up your notes for this entire semester."

"I almost signed up but then thought none of y'all would go so I decided not to." Siyun's words made me let out a cry for the nth time.

"Oh well then sucks to be you I guess." Xianwu shrugged by which he earned himself a hit on the shoulder.

"Good luck girl, but we'll see if we can manage a way to sign up." Dahee says, before continuing in a more excited manner ,"Wait you have cousins who go here right? And your brother also goes here! Why don't you ask them?"

"Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think any of them will be going. First of all Eunseok won't go cause he's supposed to meet Jimin unnie's parents."

"Oh my gosh finally. It was about time for them to get engaged-"

"For the last time Jinu, they aren't getting engaged!" I cried. "He's just meeting her parents."

"And then why won't your cousins go?" Siyun interrupted.

"Sungchan oppa has a football tournament coming up, and he needs to practice for it. And for Seunghan, that dude has nothing planned in his life, meaning there's a fifty-fifty chance for him to go or not."

"You should ask him then."

"Yeah, I will." Just about then I remembered how I randomly met Anton in the basketball court. Wait, what if he shows up there too? And judging from how amazing my luck has been till now, I'm pretty sure that bastard's gonna be there...
