Sabrina is finally dressed, it took her forever to get ready. What could she possibly be needing to do that requires nearly half an hour of work?

At least she's looking great. She's wearing a mini skirt and a crop top, paired with one dollar flip flops. Her toenails are painted a nude pinkish tone and so are her finger nails except they also have a heart painted onto them.

Maybe that's what took her so long. Did she just paint her nails?

"Alrighty I'm ready, also remind me to not eat dairy today, I'm still not fully recovered from yesterday",

so that's what she's been up to.

We head out the door into the long hallway. This college is even bigger on the inside then it seems on the outside. It's definitely gonna take me a while to memorize the way to my dorm. And then all the classes, how am I gonna memorize all that? There's only so much space in my brain. I get a headache just thinking about it but luckily it's a worry I can push aside for another month.

Now that we're walking I notice how small Sabrina actually is. She's at least a foot smaller then me. It's kind of adorable. Her hair is tucked into two braids with each a bow in them.

Looking at her makes my tummy fuzzy. Why is it making my tummy fuzzy?!

I wonder what goes on her mind? Her facial expression is pretty blunt, not a single emotion visible in it. She just stares straight ahead, certain of her destination. It's like she's walked here a million times already.

We arrive at the exit and the heat immediately strucks as we get outside. It's making me sweaty already.

I wonder what Sabrina's friends are like. Considering she seems very nice they must be too, right? Let's hope so.

The road to the lake doesn't seem to be that long unlike the silence that has fallen amongst us. Sabrina's cheeks are rosy and a few drops of sweat shimmer on her forehead. One of many reasons you'll never see me get bangs. They're way too hard to manage and especially hot in summer time. Though they do suite Sabrina, so I get why she did get them.

Suddenly we approach a bridge leading us into the woods. Apparently it's part of our trip because we cross it.

Between the trees a lake becomes visible, that must be it. We're almost there which makes me slightly nervous.

"I'm sure you'll like my friends",

Sabrina's voice breaks the silence.

"Yeah sure",

I mumble in agreement.

There is a group of people sitting by the lake on some rocks. Two girls and two guys. One of the girls has silver blonde hair and the other one dark black. The two guys both have chocolate brown hair. They're all dressed in swimwear and the girls seem a bit stuck up. But hey don't judge a book by its cover.

"Hey bitches",

Sabrina runs towards the groups.

Her skirt is so short it reveals her bathing suit underneath as she squeezes herself between the girls. Both her arms wrap around them. Will I ever be them? What is it like?

For a second I pause and stare at the group of people before me. They all know each other, I'm an outsider. I don't even belong here. They don't know me, neither do I know them.

I didn't even bring a bathing suit, why didn't I bring a bathing suit? Because I don't belong here! My mind enters overthinking mode.

"Hey April come meet my friends",
