Chapter 11: Ick

NO ONE'S POV

Nasa hallway na si Aiah at mabilis na tumatakbo, hinahabol siya ni Mikha. Hindi niya mapigilan ang tawa habang tinitingnan si Mikha na humahabol sa kanya.

"Seriously, Aiah? hindi mo ba talaga sasabihin sa akin?" sigaw ni Mikha habang sinusundan siya.

Tumigil si Aiah sa pagtakbo at humarap kay Mikha, catching her breath.

"Hulaan mo na lang!" she teased.

Napatigil si Miks sa harap niya at tinignan siya ng seryoso.

"Mariah Queen Arceta, ano ba talaga sinabi ko kagabi?"

Ngumiti si Aiah at lumapit ng kaunti kay Mikha,

"Okay, I'll give you a hint. It's about someone special."

Napalunok si Mikha, kinabahan siya sa posibleng sinabi niya, iniisip n'ya na baka Aiah already know na she loves her.

"Someone special?" tanong niya ulit, trying to recall what happened last night.

"Yep." Aiah answered, her eyes twinkling with playfulbies.

Napansin ni Mikha ang pagkakatitig ni Aiah sa kanya.

"Aiah, you know I trust you, right?" she said softly.

Ngumiti si Aiah.

"Of course, Mikha. And that's why I'm not telling you, it's more fun this way!" she laughed.

Napailing na lang si Mikha at inakbayan si Aiah.

"You are such a tease, Aiah."

"Likewise." she retorted playfully.

Weeks Have Passed................

Madalas ay magkakasabay na sila mag-lunch dahil isang subject lang naman ang first class nila sa afternoon class.

Sa loob ng ilang linggo, naging mag-close sila.

Gwen, Sheena, Colet and Jho got along with Mikha's friends, together with Jazz and Jeremy.

Miks already confirmed to herself that Jhoanna and Colet both like her childhood friends, Stacey and Maloi.

She also noticed that Maki was eyeing Jazz occasionally, but she couldn't confirm that he liked her, knowing he likes Maloi.

Jazz's admiration for Mikha was obvious during those weeks they were always together.

Sa dami niyang napapansin, Miks didn't notice na may gusto sa kaniya si Jazz because of being oblivious or just too focused on Aiah and Jeremy, who were always flirting.

Jeremy and Aiah became clingy and sweet to each other, making it hard for Mikha to control her feelings.

But with Maloi, Colet, Jhoanna, Gwen and Sheena to the rescue, Mikha managed to eat with the gang without bursting her emotions out.

Mas naging mahirap para kay Mikha na nasasaktan siya sa araw-araw na ganap sa kanilang barkada, pero lately it becomes tolerable.

Hanggang ngayon, wala pa rin naman label sina Jeremy at Aiah, the only hope that Mikha's got.

Alam ni Mikha sa sarili niya na if ever mangyari, she will have a hard time facing her best friend up without pouring out her feelings towards Aiah.

At yan ang ayaw niyang mangyari.

May pagkakataon siyang umiwas at hindi sumama sa mga kaibigan niya, knowing pwede silang bumukod nila Colet, Jhoanna , Gwen at Sheena, pero she didn't.

She also thinks it's better to get used to seeing Aiah enjoy herself with someone else.
