NO ONE'S POV

"It looks edible naman." Aiah said habang pasimpleng lumapit kay Mikha.

Sakto naman na kakatapos pa lang ng pinapakinggan niyang kanta kaya napatalon siya sa gulat ng may narinig na nagsalita.

"Jesus, Aiah! You scared me!" Mikha exclaimed, placing a hand over her heart to steady herself.

Aiah just ignored her and walked to the sink to look for a bread knife.

When she found one, she walked back to the table where the cheesecake was and sliced a piece to taste it.

Mikha just watched her in disbelief.

The guts to barge into my apartment and just taste my baked goods after ignoring me for almost two weeks?

Mikha thought to herself.

"It tastes good for a beginner." Aiah said while chewing Mikha's cheesecake as she faced her, who was giving her a death glare.

"What's with that look, Mikha Lim?" Aiah asked innocently.

"What are you doing here?" Mikha asked in a monotone as she removed her headphones and grabbed the fork from Aiah's hand.

"Why? H-hindi na ba ako a-allow dito?" Aiah stuttered, shocked by how dry Mikha's tone was.

She followed her gaze to Mikha, who had started cleaning up the mess in the kitchen.

Mikha stopped what she was doing and coldly turned her gaze to Aiah.

"After ignoring me for almost two weeks? Yes, hindi ka allow dito Mariah Queen Arceta." Mikha said in a serious tone and continued cleaning up.

Full name basis eh?

Aiah stood there, stunned.

She hadn't expected this reaction from Mikha.

She bit her lip, trying to find the right words.

Her friend is right, she had been avoiding Mikha lately because she was feeling so confused.

The kiss they shared and the emotions stirred up by seeing Mikha with Jasmine had left her in a tangled feeling.

She hadn't planned to confront Mikha just yet, still unsure of her own feelings.

But her parents had called to inform her that Mikha was also celebrating Christmas alone, as Mikha's parents were abroad as well.

It seemed odd, knowing how important such events were to the Lim family, but that's what her parents told her. So, naisipan n'yang puntahan na lang ito.

"Mikha, I—" Aiah began, but Mikha cut her off.

"No, Aiah, you don't get to just show up here and act like everything's fine." Mikha bitterly said trying to suppress her anger.

"Let me guess, wala si Jeremy no?" Mapaklang tanong nito, her voice tinged with sarcasm.

Aiah lowered her gaze, unable to meet Mikha's eyes, which made Mikha laugh humorlessly.

"I get it." Mikha continued, her tone laced with frustration.

"Oo nga naman, since you started dating him, lalapit ka lang naman sa'kin pag wala s'ya. Am I right, Aiah?" She looked at Aiah with a mixture of hurt and disappointment, bumigat ang tension dahil sa sinabi ni Mikha.

Hindi umimik si Aiah na mas lalong nag painit ng ulo ni Mikha.

"Ano? You're just going to close your mouth d'yan?" Mikha asked, getting impatient.
