MALOI'S POV (FIRST TIME)

"Okay ka lang, bai?" Colet asked, concern evident in her voice.

I shot her a look.

We were in Antipolo, and she had insisted on dragging me out here.

Hindi ko s'ya magets minsan -she could have just said she wanted a date instead of coming up with some excuse for an outing, minsan malakas humarot madalas torpe.

Andito kami sa trunk ng pickup n'ya, prepared si bai ang damang dala ng pagkain.

Hindi na lang kasi aminin na date 'to.

"Puro ka 'bai'? Ihampas ko kaya 'tong milktea sa'yo!" I threatened, holding up my drink

"Puro ka 'bai'? Ihampas ko kaya 'tong milktea sa'yo!" I threatened, holding up my drink.

Colet shot me a glare.

"Ito naman, concern na nga sa'yo." she complained.

"Eh ikaw kasi puro ka 'bai,' tigil-tigilan mo nga, tayo na lang dalawa rito oh!" I replied irritably.

"Okay, baby." she said, adding a cheeky wink.

I felt my cheeks heat up at her words, but I needed to hide my kilig.

"Yieeeeee, namumula ang pisngi mo uy!" she teased, earning another glare from me.

"Baby? Ano ala Jhoanna Robles lang?" I retorted.

"Ano pala gusto mo? Love? Honey? Darling?" she asked, moving her face closer to mine.

Surprised, I pushed her away.

"Ang kapal mo, hindi ka nga nanliligaw eh!" I said, pinching her cute cheeks in retaliation.

"Aray, Maloi! Pisti bai, ang sakit uy!" she yelped, rubbing her cheeks with an exaggerated pout.

Cute

Tumingin ulit ako sa City lights at napabuntong hininga.

Hindi ko pa nakakausap si Mikha simula noong last encounter namin sa hallway, noong isang araw pa ata.

Si Aiah din pag lunch namin kanina halata na maga ang mata.

I'm having a doubt na nag-usap na sila.

Sumasakit na ang ulo ko sa kanilang dalawa, pati cof namin nadadamay sa something nila pero I couldn't blame Mikha rin kasi as she told me before she's been in love with Aiah since they were kids.

"Lalim nun ah." Colet remarked, her eyebrows knitting together in concern.

She shifted closer to me, kaya mag katabi na kami habang parehas nakatingin sa City lights.

"What's bothering you ba? kwento nga." she said softly, I can sense the concern in her voice.

I let out a deep sigh, masyadong mabigat ang mga ganap sa barkada namin ngayon.
