Valeria's POV
"I don't think there will be a next time," Gio said, walking in.
"Woah, let's take a chill pill, buddy. She's not yours," Caitlyn grabbed Gio's arm only to be smacked.
"Don't touch my girlfriend like that," I said, pushing Gio back.
"Yeah...What she said," Caitlin pointed a finger at Gio in a childish manner.
"Well, don't invite other people to dinner, and not invite me," Gio said with an attitude.
"This was supposed to be just a one-on-one get together, but I brought Caitlin. I don't see why you're mad at anyone because you weren't invited. Plus, we're not together anymore, so it shouldn't matter who I'm seeing or talking to," I snapped back.
When I turned around, I saw Madison heading for the door. I was torn between staying with Caitlyn and going after Madison.
In the end, I decided to go after Madison. I wanted to rekindle a friendship with her. I walked to the door, grabbing it before it closed.
"Madison, wait up!" I yelled, trying to catch up with her.
She turned around and waited for me with her arms crossed. I started to jog across the parking lot just to reach Madison.
"What do you want? I think your girlfriend does not want you around me," Madison said.
"That's not my girlfriend. She's just a jealous ex," I looked into her eyes, waiting for her to say something.
"Can we start over? Like with just us? I didn't mean to ruin everything, but I was just nervous about making a bad impression," I babbled.
"No, you're good. I say we try again tomorrow?" Madison gave me a smile.
"Same time?" I asked, gaining a nod from the tall girl in front of me.
I gave her a hug and walked away. I texted Caitlin and I walked to my car and did a little victory dance.

After the get together
She unlocked the door to her apartment and we walked in. We were still laughing about a joke she made.
We went to a fancy restaurant and boy did we have a good time. The food was great, but I got full very quickly. We talked about memories from high school, which was fun.
We also talked about the time we tried skipping class in the bathroom, but instantly got caught by the custodians and had to run around the entire school for an hour straight.
Boy, do I miss high school.
"Today was fun," I smiled at the girl in front of me.
"Yeah, I haven't had this much fun in a while," Madison said, making eye contact with me, "You have pretty eyes, you know that right?"
I mean, I've been having them my whole life-
"Thank you. My girlfriend says the same thing," I said, stepping away from her.
"So do you want to play Fortnite or do you want to get beat in 2k?" Madison said, walking into the living room with me following behind her.
"We can play 2k, but be prepared to lose," I snatched the controller from her hand.
A/N: couldn't think of any other game atm-
"We'll see!" Madison said, going to get the other controller.
This should be interesting.
*****
I lost...badly.
"Damn, Val. You really did good, but not good enough to beat me," Madison said, putting down the controller.
"I'm just a little rusty. I should get going. Caitlin is probably wondering where I am," I laughed, getting up from the couch.
"Are you two a thing?" Madison asked.
"Yes ma'am. She's the best girlfriend I could ever ask for," I smiled at the thought of Caitlin.
"Oh, congratulations. I really thought we could try things out again, but you're happy now. I don't wanna ruin that. I hope we can still be friends," Madison uttered, looking down.
"Of course we can still be friends. Just nothing more. I'm really trying not to mess this up," I grabbed my keys.
After hugging Madison, I walked back to my car and headed home.
*****
"So, how'd things go? Did she try anything? Do I have to beat her up? Why were you gone so long?" Caitlin asked as soon as I walked through the door.
I gave her a kiss, "No, you don't have to do anything. She took me out to dinner, and then we went to her apartment and played games. That's all. You know you can trust me, right?"
"Yeah, but I don't know if I trust her with what's mine. You guys have a history. You have a history or hooking up with people from your past..." She said, referring to Avery.
"Baby, I promise I'm not going anywhere. I'm all yours. In fact, I'll let you take Alex to Gio's from now on. That way, I wont have any contact with her except texts. How does that sound?" I asked my pretty girl.
"That sounds pretty good. I'll just have to bring my taser and mace," Caitlin said, laughing.
A/N: mace is pepper spray.
I looked at my girlfriend for a second. She started to look confused. I silently hugged her tightly.
"Are you okay?" She asked, rubbing my back.
"Yeah, I just really love you," I kissed her shoulder.
I heard her heart beat faster.
We stayed in this position for a good minute before heading to bed.
"What's one thing that you wish you could change about me?" I asked, rubbing Caitlin's chest.
"I wouldn't change anything. You're perfect just the way you are," she responded.
Aww. So cute.
She started singing Not Allowed by Tv Girl and I joined her.
We both sound terrible.
Self-aware Mep.
This MIGHT be the end of this book. I feel like I need to like...edit some previous chapters so there isn't so much drama. Idk. I'm a slut for Billie...BYE Y'ALL!
