He lay lifeless on the mattress on the floor , a collar on his neck that said ' my pet ' which made it difficult for him to even breathe , his hands and legs tied up tightly by the rope. His body was filled with cuts and bruises .
Belt marks littered all over his body including his private parts. All of these the proof to the pain and agony he went through.
Few hours later,
The basement door opened to reveal the same man who had tortured him . He entered the room with small footsteps and a sheepish smile.
The man opened the water bottle and poured it on shubman. "My pet , wake up , wake up ." Shubman woke up startled and stared in fear at the man in front of him before trying to crawl back to a corner.
This was of no use . he knew there was no escape , every time he tried to get away , the man would torment him even more , so he stayed still , letting god decide his fate. For him , even death was more peaceful now.
The man untied him and put a leash on his collar before dragging him out of the basement .
Shubman made attempts to resist because he knew he was more unsafe outside the basement than in the basement, but all his attempts were useless as he was dragged by his hair causing him pain. he feared that one woman who was outside.

Shubman was thrown on the floor mercilessly , he looked up to see his step - mother Malini mocking him . " Tsk tsk tsk , arey Mera bacha , how are you ?. Did you get hurt somewhere. " Shubman was in tears by now , he wanted to die .
Malini then brought a few papers and forced shubman to sign on those .
" Shubman , do you know what those papers were ?" Malini asked Gently .
Shubi , with his head hung low in fear shook his head as no . Malini placed a finger under his chin forcing him to look up .
Shubman's lips wobbled and eyes were ferret ( means red ) due to crying . Malini slapped him with a force that caused him to bleed and then kicked on his stomach twice .
