"Spill it James," Venom commanded, her voice calm and composed as she answered the call.
"Boss, we have a situation," the voice on the other end began, urgency clear. "The Russians and Mexicans are on the move. They're heading to Italy and France to claim the continental grounds. They believe Victor's death has left a power vacuum."
Venom leaned back in her chair, her expression unreadable. The memory of Victor's death-swift and brutal-lingered in her mind, but it did not trouble her. She had eliminated him with precision, and now, it seemed, others were foolishly trying to fill his shoes.
"Who are they sending?" she asked, her tone steady.
"Ivanov's crew from Russia, heavily armed. “The knights ”from Mexico is backing them. The French factions are mobilizing too, but they're less organized, seeing this as their chance to gain control in Victor's absence."
Venom's eyes narrowed slightly. "Our assets in Italy and France?"
"Ready and waiting for your orders."
"Good," she replied. "Maintain surveillance and tighten security. No one makes a move without my approval. If they try to advance, neutralize the threat discreetly."
"Yes, boss," the voice replied, confidence restored by her unwavering demeanor.
Venom ended the call and returned her phone to the desk. There was no need for alarm. She had anticipated such moves and had plans in place. Her network was vast and loyal, built on respect and a touch of fear. The impending conflict would be managed as all others had been.
A soft knock on the door signaled Atharv's entrance. He looked at her, reading her calm expression.
"The Russians and Mexicans?" he asked.
Venom nodded. "They're making their play. Our assets are on high alert."
"What about Taehyung and his friends?" Atharv inquired, concern flickering in his eyes.
"They're safe as long as they remain within these walls," Venom replied, her voice cool. "Our priority is to ensure the stability of our European interests. The boys are secondary but not in immediate danger."
Atharv nodded, reassured by her calm. "I'll coordinate with our teams and reinforce our positions."
"Good," Venom said, dismissing him with a slight nod.
As Atharv left, Venom rose and walked to the window, looking out at the moonlit gardens. The tranquility outside contrasted with the potential chaos brewing, but she felt no anxiety. She was in control, as always. The power struggles and territorial disputes were part of the game she knew so well.
She returned to her desk and began reviewing the latest intelligence reports, her mind sharp and focused. The threats were real, but manageable. The Russians and Mexicans would learn soon enough that filling Victor's void was no simple task.
The night deepened, but Venom remained vigilant. She had built her empire on strength, intelligence, and unwavering resolve. The approaching conflict would be met with the same calculated strategy that had always ensured her dominance.
In the quiet of her study, Venom felt a steely determination settle over her. The game was changing, but she would remain the master. The wolves might be at the door, but they would find a monster waiting.
-----The atmosphere was light, with casual conversations and the clinking of cutlery filling the room. Jungkook glanced around, noticing Nivan's absence.
"Where's Nivan?" he asked, his question hanging in the air, seemingly directed at no one in particular.
