As another name is scratched off the list, Lydia is required to find the second key, thus revealing more targets. Scott, Stiles and Kira are on high alert after realizing that the assassin is on the lacrosse team. While Chloe and Derek deal with her pregnancy and his slow loss of power.

Third Person POV

The Loft is quiet, dark, cold, and empty when the couple steps inside after leaving the High School and getting ice cream. Derek keeps Chloe behind him, listening for a few moments to figure out if there's anyone else in the house. When the cost is clear he takes a few steps away from his girlfriend and flips on the lights, that only light up the corner by their bed.

And she walks past the couch, her Bo Staff gets tossed on the cushions, before realizing that Derek isn't following her while she takes off her jacket and kicks off her boots. "Der?" She turns around to see him still standing by the security system, leaning against the beam. Being able to pick up on his stress and worry she makes her way back over to him, "You okay, Baby?" Her voice barely above a whisper as her hands rests on his chest.

He shakes his head slowly keeping his eyes on the floor, he doesn't have the strength to look at her, but she can see and feel them flicker gold because her eyes flicker a mix of gold, green, and purple in response. "...I should've been able to smell that blood..." He mumbles painfully.

"Hey..." She whispers softly, hand resting on his cheek to get him to look at her and she sees the tears in his eyes. "Don't you dare start thinking you failed, this is not your fault, you didn't do anything wrong. This is all because of what Kate did to you in Mexico." She tries to reassure him, hesitating asking, "What do I always about Werewolves and magic?" Raising an eyebrow.

"They don't mix well." His voice still quiet as he remembers the night Kate took him and being unconscious for most of that time.

She nods, "That's right, Babe- they don't mix well, that's why I have to rewrite a lot of my spells and use different potions for when I'm helping you or Scott. Sometimes that doesn't even work!" Taking a breath to make sure she stays calm, not wanting the stress to get to her, "And Kate? She used a newer form magic, compared to the very old magic I tap into, on you. Magic she didn't fully understand... which may have messed a few things up for you..." When he doesn't even acknowledge her words she firmly repeats, "This is not your fault."

Before he can open his mouth to argue his phone goes off in his pocket but he doesn't move to answer it, so Chloe does. And the moment her hand moves for his front his pocket he flinches slightly so she backs her hand away a bit, "It's just me. I'm getting your phone." Her voice barely above a whisper, waiting for him to nod.

When he does she carefully grabs it, looking at the screen it's Lydia's name, "That's odd..." She mutters, "Lydia nevercalls us." Then answers.

The Witch can't even get the phone to her ear before Lydia starts frantically rambling so Chloe decides to put the call on speaker, "You guys aren't going to believe what I just found..." She spits the words out all in one long string.

The tone of Lydia's voice catches Derek's attention and he's immediately on high alert, only calming down slightly when Chloe rests a hand on his chest. "Lydia, Hun, we can't understand you when you're in a panic. Take a breath and try again." Chloe tells her gently.

Once Lydia takes a breath, she explains, "Don't ask how but I just unlocked a Hit-list- a Deadpool list- and we're all at it, including you and Derek."

Derek eyes widen in fear and worry as he realizes and nearly rips the phone from Chloe's hand, "How much is Chlo worth?" He asks urgently, just as panicked as Lydia was moments ago.
