Woody somehow convinced us to sit around the table, so we could look at the ring closely. No idea why we should do that. I think we should drown it in the sea. Deep deep down in the sea. Anyways , I'm still sitting here but just for Woody.

I snatched myself a pen, starting to draw another one of my ghosts. This one was a ballerina. Why ? Because I wanted to. We should place colors somewhere around , so that I can paint them.
Lockwood leaned against the counter as he started speaking.
"So , we know that the intruder was after the ring , the question is why ?"
George stood up, searching for something , while we looked at the ring under the Lupe. I could feel some weird aura coming from it but nothing too concerning. Probably because right now the ghost wasn't active. If it was I probably would be throwing up right now. Well... I could also be dead because I'm way to close to the ring. Delightful.
"I already thought about that while you and Hel were occupying the living room."
George said. I winced as I felt Lucy's gaze burning holes into me. That to the questions earlier. Lockwood , who seemed to take it as a sign of pain , turned around looking at me concerned.
"Everything fine Hel ? Is your face hurting ?"
Well ... yes but that's not the reason I'm wincing my dear darling. I touched my nose, almost flinching, as the pain shot trough me. I tried my best smile.
"No no, everything is fine."
He nodded before showing George that he could go on.

"No , it doesn't prove anything."
Lockwood shook his head and stood up, taking the ring. I sighed, turning to Lucy.
"Woody is right. Yes , they were lovers but that doesn't mean one of them killed the other. I can name you a lot of couples , who broke up and still both are alive."

I smiled sadly at the thought of Mel and Alex. They were so sweet , it was annoying but they thought a lot. That didn't stop them from being annoyingly cute. I remember one of their fights. Not the reason but how Mel didn't speak to Alex for a whole week but every time she wanted to sit down somewhere , Alex pulled the stool back, so she could. I wonder what they would do right now. I gasped for air as I realized that they would've been married by now. Man, they would've been married by now. Water built up in my eyes but I blinked it away , focusing on today and not the past.
I hate romances anyway.

Lockwood nodded once again before looking to the ring in his hand. I sighed in relief as I realized that nobody noticed my mind slipping away for a second.
"The ring will go into the safe. I take the ring because well.. you can't be trusted."
I didn't miss the small smile forming on Lockwoods face as he looked at Lucy. Is it really that unbelievable to kill because of love ? There were definitely dumber reasons.

I'm back guys !!!!
