"The Law of Surprise will be honoured. Pavetta will marry... Lord Urcheon," The queen announces in acceptance of this fate. To add on Eist speaks out stating anyone who disagrees with this result will face the wrath of the Skellige as the queen had agreed to his hand in marriage.[Y/N] had regained her composure a little later than the rest since her ears had been ringing. She hears the queen announce that there will be two vows and asks if everyone agrees. Seeing as no one was disagreeing the queen sighs with acceptance. "Delightful."

The ceremony of the two lovers goes peacefully as the queen announces them as 'bonded to thee'. They smile warmly at one another as the princess and the knight share a kiss to seal their fate. However, after the kiss, the knight suddenly started to groan and growl as he lay on the ground all sorts of weird noises coming from him. Then the crowd suddenly gasps as they see the once beastly-looking knight turn completely human. They were all in shock and [Y/N] looked to Geralt as they shared a look of interest that the curse was broken this way. [Y/N] thought though it was very fairytale-like, having the curse broken with a true love's kiss. She found it rather corny that the person casting the curse on the knight would make the spell break with a simple kiss. Jaskier watches, warm-hearted at the event that just prevailed. The new weds kiss once more as the bard throws out a comment about his next inspiration for his ballad.
"Whew-- I think this has the makings of my greatest ballad yet," Jaskier says as he looks towards the woman standing next to him handing him a handkerchief.
"If you're alive in the morning. Don't-" Geralt interrupted Jaskier in his 'makings of the next ballad' and looked at the bard weirdly as he watched Jaskier's intentions towards the woman. "...Grope for trout in any peculiar river until dawn." Geralt finishes his thought, as he looks over at [Y/N] to signal for their leave. However, they get stopped by the knight's call.
"Wait no! Wait!" The knight calls after the white-haired witcher catching his attention. "You saved my life, I must repay you."
"You've proven yourself to be the kind of man who would do the same. I want nothing," Geralt replies giving brief thought to what the knight had said. In [Y/N]'s materialistic mind she looked at Geralt wishing he would have claimed some coins, but she soon realized that was wishful thinking.
"No, please. Please, Geralt of Rivia, do not feel like you're doing me a service. I cannot start a new life in the shadow of a life debt," The knight insisted, which got [Y/N]'s hopes up for coin; her ears perking up attentively.
"Fine... I claim the tradition as you have, the Law of Surprise. Give me that which you already have but do not know," Geralt states seeming to put together something that he thought would be a harmless reward.
"No--" The queen says, eyes wide at Geralt's request. At the same time [Y/N] had the same thoughts as the queen. She looked at Geralt hoping her looks of daggers would notify him that he should've just asked for coins as a simple result.
"What have you done, Witcher?" The Queen asks in disbelief that Geralt would claim the Law of Surprise, knowing how powerful it is with destiny.
"Fear not, your majesty, if I am seen in your kingdom again, it'll be to kill a real monster, not lay claim to a crop or a new pup. Destiny can go fu--" And before Geralt could finish cursing out Destiny, just as if Destiny was cursing the witcher back, the princess throws up startling the ton.
