Don't Go Breaking My Heart

Chapter Nine

Hye Rin often meet Hyun Woo at the coffeehouse and their relationship became better as they gotten closer.

Until one day he ask the question "Hye Rin, I know this seem sudden" he paused and continued "I like you. Please be my girlfriend" he took out a bouquet of sunflowers and she couldn't help but tearing up as she nodded and he smiled.

"I promise I will not hurt you" he said. She was now sobbing as he hugged her.

Honestly she has fallen for him as well. She told him from the beginning that she was married but divorced and have a 10 years old son and a pair of six years old twins.

He was surprised by the  sudden discovery about her and how she was hurt because of her past mistake.

Hyun Woo met the children and they were happy that their mother met someone decent and she seem happy with him.

She broke the news to her best friend/ sister in-law and older brother who suddenly became protective of her.

She let them meet and now Seo Woo became friends with her boyfriend, Hyun Woo.

And make it more ironic, her brother is his senior in University.

The news of her getting into a relationship soon became a topic she have to tell to her children too, not as as a friend but as a couple. They are happy for her but one person wasn't. 

"Protect my mother and please don't break her heart" Jun Jae said and Hyun Woo knew what he meant  

"I promise" Hyun Woo said and soon they accepted him.

Everyone is happy for them. Until someone from her past came back to interfere with their happiness. 

She met her ex in-laws for a lunch time meeting and she was asked "How are you doing dear?" Mrs. Lim ask

"I'm doing fine" she answered and Mrs Lim could see there's a spark of happiness in her

"You are happier? Did something good happened recently?" Mrs. Lim ask and was taking a sip of her drink when Hye Rin answered

"Yes I am happy. I met someone recently" Hye Rin answered truthfully .

That made her ex mother in-law almost choked from her drink.

She coughed until it cleared. Looking at Hye Rin she was looking at her, worried "Are you alright?"

The older woman just said "I'm alright"

Mr. Lim too was surprised as the food he was eating suddenly became unappealing to him.

"The young man must be a good person" Mr. Lim said and now Hye Rin was blushing slightly

"Yes" she replied

"What does he do?" Mr. Lim ask

Hye Rin then replied " He is a Junior Architect at a firm just a few blocks away from my office"

Now Mrs. Lim looked at her worried and placed a hand on hers gently and ask "Does he know about your status?"

Hye Rin knew this question will be asked by them, knowing they too doesn't want her to get hurt again.

"He knows" she answered and Mr. Lim then cleared his throat and asks

"Does he know regarding the children?" He was worried for her and the children.

Hye Rin nodded and said "He met them and spent a lot of time together"

The older man then said "Good. I hope he makes you happy, Hye Rin"
