The Life of Amelia Potter (WTM)

Amelia was lying on Draco's lap as he read a book. "Draco...will you still love me even if I'm not in Slytherin?"

He smiled at her. "I will still love you if you even got expelled. Don't worry, love. We have to be careful with your Papa there, though. Can't have him figuring us out yet."

(Sorting ceremony)

McGonagall: Ronald Weasley

Hat: Ahh another Weasley. I know what to do to you. Gryffindor!

McGonagall: Hermione Granger

Hat: Bright. Very bright. I see courage but ambition too. I think it is time for a change. Slytherin!

"A muggle born in Slytherin?! That has never happened before!" Sirius yelled.

Peter spoke for the first time. "She must be evil."

McGonagall: Draco Malfoy

The hat barely touches his head "Slytherin!"

McGonagall: Amelia Potter-Snape

Dumbledore looks at McGonagall with anger. Severus never legally changed her last name and should not be called that.

Hat: Hmmm interesting. You have the characteristics of all the houses. But where to put you. I normally don't do this but do you have any preferences?

Mia: No sir. I believe you will know where I will grow and thrive in best.

Hat: Then better be....Slytherin!

"What?! That can't be right. Our family have all been in Gryffindor." James was shocked and upset. How did his daughter end up in Slytherin?

The Slytherin table cheered for their new house mate and Severus was secretly relieved. With him being head of Slytherin he would be able to watch her better.

The kid who Amelia learned was Ronald Weasley kept sending daggers at her the whole time at dinner.

"Draco, why is he glaring at me?"

When Draco looked up Weasley quickly looked away. "He probably is upset that you were not sorted into Gryffindor. Everyone expected it."

"You're right we did expect it!" Sirius was still dumbfounded.

The students had been dismissed from the great hall and headed to their common rooms. Mia was looking around in aww when Serverus walked in.

"Papa! I made Slytherin!"

"I saw love. I am truly happy I will be able to be closer to you here at school. I need to get to my chambers but I wanted to come wish you a great first night. Oh and Mia dear."

"Yes Papa?"

"No sneaking into Draco's room. Even if you are "secretly" dating." He smirked.

Mis blushed profusely. "I don't.. know what you are talking about."

"Oh my Merlin! At such a young age.  I guess if you know you know." Lily said to her daughter.

"Sure you don't. Get to bed sweetheart."

Severus had walked to his chambers and was greeted by the Malfoy's house elf. "Dobby? What brings you by?"

"Oh, Dobby has a letter for Professor Snape from Master Lucius. He has been instructed to wait for a reply before leaving sir."

"I see." Severus opens the letter. It was very short. It read, "I have found Poppy Sweeting. Meet me at the Three Broomsticks tomorrow night."

"Very well Dobby. Tell Lucius I will see him Friday evening."
