(Hogsmead)

Mia and Severus were walking to the Three Broomsticks. "Why are we here? We should be at the castle with the potion to wake Aseop's mom." Mia said.

"You have a meeting in the upstairs room." Severus was cold about it.

"A meeting? With whom? You seem like you are in a rotten mood, Papa."

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to take it out on you. Just head up. I will be there shortly."

She nodded and climbed the stairs to find Remus Lupin into he room waiting. He saw her enter and stood up. "Amelia."

Her expression was blank. "Mr. Lupin, my father is downstairs if you need him."

"He's not your....I mean he is not who I wish to speak to. I was hoping to speak to you."

She rounded the chair and sat down. "So now you wish to speak to me?"

"I'm sorry?" He asked, confused.

"You heard me." She looked at him for a moment. "I remember you.......uncle Moony."

Her saying that was a slap to the face. She had remembered him all these years and probably thought that same. He abandoned her.

"You....you do? How you were so young." He asked.

"I remember a lot. More has come back to me as of recent. I remember the house at Godrics Hollow, the night my parents died, my mother's screams, and my family."

Lily tensed and James pulled her close.

He looked ashamed. She shouldn't have to remember all of that pain. "I didn't abandon you, Amelia."

"What would you call it then? Don't get me wrong, I turned out great thanks to Papa, but you couldn't visit or write? You dropped off the face of the earth. I wasn't even 2 yet, I needed my family, and you were supposed to be that for me!"

He tried to hold back the tears. "Dumbledore said..." He was cut off.

"Yes, Dumble-dick. How could I forget. The man who takes anything he wants. He is a little child who wants to get his own way. You guys trusted him and see what happened?"

"What do you mean? He didn't do anything." Remus said.

"It is his fault my parents are dead, I know you will never believe me, so I won't try to beat it into you. Uncle Padfoot is locked up in Azkaban with no trial for "leaking" our location to the Dark Lord. He is innocent, and because of your precious Dumbledore, he got NO trial."

"I'm in Azkaban?! There is no way I would betray my friends! Plus, it's illegal to not have a trial." Sirius yelled.

"How do you even know all of this? You are only a child. This shouldn't be on your shoulders." He said.

She looked out the window at all the townspeople. "I do my research. Not only that, but you may think of my Papa as a cold man, but he isn't. We visit and send Sirius packages often. We didn't abandon him either. He knew I was with Papa and was actually happy someone had the balls to defy Dumbledore. Uncle Padfoot knows that your precious leader of the light is nothing but a catfisher."

Sirius looked at Severus. "You ended up being the only one who was there for me I the end. A man who bullied you day in and day out. I'm truly sorry, Severus."

Younger Severus slightly nodded his head in acceptance.

He reached for her hand. "Your parents entrusted you to me if anything happened to them."

"Yeah, what a great job you've done." She rolled her eyes.

"And I know I haven't been there as i should have, but I will be from now on."

"No." She said.

"No?" He voice broke

"No, I don't need someone who follows blindly to a man who ruins lives. A man who will probably set me up to die in the end like he did my parents. You would proble hand me to him willingly."

"Never Amelia! I am willing to have an open mind about this Dumbledore being evil thing. Please just let me be part of your life."

She was quite and thought about everything. "We start small. With letters, than build our way up. We start anew. I want to trust you. I remember my parents. I remember my father throwing me in the air and catching me." She started to cry. "I remember my mother rocking me at night. My father sneaking me sweets even with the wrath of my mother. I remember you and uncle pads around the table for dinner."

The great hall was crying.

Remus was crying with her and pulled her in for a hug. "It's ok to miss them. I do, too. They would be happy to see the woman you are today, and that is thanks to Severus. I'm sorry about everything."

A/N My kids and I just came back from attending a Harry Potter event today, and they had people dressed up as characters. You know how hard it was to not shit talk Dumbledore and be nice today?! Lol
