(Severus office)

"I need you to help keep Mia out of my office for a couple of hours today, Aseop."

He nodded. "I can do that. She keeps going on about me taking her to Honeydukes. Does she have a candy problem?"

Severus groaned. "You have no idea. Just no Bertie Botts, she like to hide the nasty ones in my food."

Aseop laughed. "Will do. Why do you need her out of sight today?"

"Remus Lupin. He somehow got wind of me having Amelia and is now storming the castle. We have a meeting in an hour or so."

"Finally one of you shows up!" James yelled.

"Why does he care? He didn't offer to take her in, did he?"

Severus shook his head. "No, but I'm sure I will hear about he could with his "condition.""

Remus turned pale. Had his condition truly become known?

Remus had entered Hogwarts on a mission amd made his way to Snapes office and knocked.

Severus opened the door. "Lupin. What do you want?"

Remus was red in the face. "You had Amelia? All this time? How could you not tell me?!"

"You wouldn't have had access to her if she were truly abandoned at Petunia's so what is the difference with her being with me?

Remus grabbed Severus by the collar. "I didn't abandon her! Dumbledore said I couldn't have her because of my werewolf!"

"Remus Lupis is a werewolf?" The grat hall whispered.

"Dumbledore lied. There is no law against a wizard or witch suffering with lycanthropy, adopting or having a child." He sneered.

Remus dropped Severus. "What? You're wrong. You must be. Why else wouldn't Dumbledoreet me have her. You know how much I love Amelia."

"I do. However, Dumbledore isn't looking as holy as people believed. His true self is coming to light. We have found him to be involved with missing people and compulsion tampering."

Remus started to pace the room. "Why didn't you tell me you had her though. Did you ever think of contacting me? You and I are the only ones left."

"Say what? Uhh what about Peter and I?" Sirius asked.

"I did think about it once or twice. Ameila said she wanted a dog and you came to mind." He smirked.

Remus huffed. "Still a bastard I see."

"And your still the bitch, Lupin."

"I want to see her, Snape."

"I don't know if I can allow that. You seem to be on team Dumbledore. A man who took her from you and has shown can be a threat to her safety."

Remus got in Severus face. "This isn't over. I will be in her life Snape.  She is goddaughter as much as yours."

"Yet I'm the one who taught her to walk, talk, manners, to use the restroom for Merlin sake! What did you do but sit on your godfather title? You and I both know what would have became of Mia if she were left with Lily's sister. Petunia hated magic more than she hated Lily and that says alot."

"Please Severus, I just want to be involved. I thought I was too dangerous but I'm really not on the wolfsbane potion. I promise nothing will get back to Dumbledore either."

When Severus looked into Lupins he could see how more broken he looked. "Fine, but give me the day to talk to her about this. We can meet in Hogsmead tomorrow."

"Thank you, Severus."
