"What's wrong with you?" I asked Kamani.

She hasn't said a word to me ever since we left Leilanee's crib.

"You were might friendly today, don't you think?" she finally said.

I rolled my eyes and took my sandals off. My feet were sore. I needed a bath.

"I was just trying to make her feel comfortable Kam--"

"Yeah, while at the same time ignoring your fiancee. That's what we're doing?" she stood up crossing her arms.

I just looked at her.

"I was not ignoring--"

"The hell you wasn't! Every time I tried to talk to you, you blew me off. You were all up in Leilanee face though. And that's your ex! How do you think that made us look?" she yelled.

I saw the frustration in her face. I heard the anger in her voice.

"I mean, it was nothing. You shouldn't trip. I was just being a friend." I walked up to Kamani and she walked away.

"Nothing? You and your ex hugged up, laughing and talking is nothing. You two taking pictures and dancing and Im sitting back looking stupid."

She shook her head and walked out of the room. Yo, I was not feeling her attitude right now.

"Kamani, calm down. I told you that I only want you. Why do you think I still want her?" I raised my voice.

"Well, do you??!!??!? Shit  cause I see the way y'all were looking at each other. I'm not for the bullshit Sydnei. So before we go any further, I want to know something."

I folded my arms and tapped my goot with attitude. It didn't bother Kamani one bit though.

"And what is that?"

"Are you over her?" she blurted out.

The question caught me by surprise and I choked up. I saw Kamani face grow sad.

"You're not, are you?" she scoffs and walks downstairs and out of the door before I could get an answer to come out.

"KAMANI!!!!!" I yelled out in sobs.

What have I done? Did I just fuck up my relationship? Why couldn't I answer the question? Why couldn't I say I was over her like I wanted to? Why....
