As their laughter subsided, the reality of Armaan's impending departure suddenly hit Ishani, casting a shadow over her previously light mood. Her smile faded, replaced by a look of apprehension.

Armaan, sensing her change in demeanor, became serious too. "I know you're worried about me going away, Ishani," he said softly. "But I promise, nothing will change between us. We'll still be in each other's lives, and I'll always be here for you, no matter the distance."

Ishani bit her lip, wrestling with her emotions.

"I know you mean it when you say that, Armaan," Ishani said, her voice low and uncertain. "But I can't help but feel like everything will be different when you're gone. We've always been so close, and now..." Her voice trailed off, her eyes shining with unshed tears.

Armaan reached out, taking her hands in his. "Ishani, look at me," he said, his tone firm but gentle. "I love you. And that's not going to change, no matter how far away I am.

"I know that's what you say now," Ishani replied, the worry in her voice evident. "But things change. What if you meet someone else over there, someone who's closer to your age? Someone who doesn't need protecting like I do?"

Armaan's brow furrowed, his gaze unwavering. "Ishani, listen to me," he said, his voice insistent. "There is no one else for me. No one.

"You're my heart, my soul. And no amount of distance is going to change that.
