The announcement for the flight's departure echoed through the terminal, bringing with it a sense of urgency and finality. Armaan and Ishani both knew that their time together was running out.
With a last tender smile, Armaan turned to walk towards the boarding gate. But before he could take a step, Ishani's hand shot out and grasped the collar of his shirt, pulling him back towards her.
The shock in Armaan's eyes faded quickly as he realized what Ishani was doing.
"Ishani, what—?" Armaan started, but Ishani silenced him with a kiss.
Her lips were soft, yet urgent, pressing against his with a fierce longing. Armaan's shock melted away as he responded, his arms winding around Ishani's waist.
The kiss was a promise, a seal on their future, a reminder that no matter how far apart they were, their love would endure.
As they broke apart, Armaan stared at Ishani, his eyes shining with wonder.
Their lips met again, this time with even more intensity, as if they were trying to pour all of their emotions into that single moment. Armaan's hands cupped Ishani's face, his fingertips tracing the curve of her cheekbones as their kiss deepened.
Ishani's heart thudded against her chest, her entire being alive with the feeling of Armaan's lips against hers. She'd never known that a kiss could be so powerful, so full of meaning.
As their kiss finally broke, they stared into each other's eyes, both breathless and filled with love.
Armaan gently brushed a strand of hair behind Ishani's ear, his eyes never leaving hers.
"You took me by surprise, you know that?" he said, his voice low and husky. "But I wouldn't have had it any other way."
Ishani laughed softly, her eyes still shining. "Well, I couldn't let you leave without giving you a little taste of what you're missing while you're away."
Armaan chuckled, his fingers lingering on Ishani's cheek. "Trust me, I'll be thinking about that taste every day I'm gone."
