Armaan stepped closer to Ishani, his heart pounding as he gazed into her eyes. The world around them seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them standing in a sea of twilight.
"Ishani," he whispered, his voice low and urgent. "I know we've been friends for a long time, but lately, I can't stop thinking about you. You're always on my mind, and... well, I just wanted to tell you that I think I'm in love with you."
Ishani's breath caught in her throat.
Ishani's eyes searched Armaan's face, drinking in every detail. She could see the fear and hope mingled in his expression, and she knew in that moment that she was falling deeper in love with him.
"Armaan," she breathed, her voice trembling with emotion. "I feel the same way. I've been fighting my feelings for a long time, but I can't deny them anymore. I love you too."
As their eyes locked, the world seemed to stop.Armaan reached out, his fingers grazing Ishani's cheek gently. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to hear you say those words," he murmured. "I've loved you since the moment I held you as a baby, and I've loved you every day since."
Ishani leaned into his touch, her heart racing. "Then why didn't you say anything sooner?" she whispered, her eyes shining with emotion.
Armaan smiled, a tenderness in his expression that made Ishani's heart soar. "Because I was afraid I'd scare you away.In the deepening twilight, Ishani's determination intensified. She reached up, her fingers gently cupping Armaan's face. His breath hitched in his throat, his heart thundering against his chest.
"Ishani..." he started, his voice a mere whisper.
She silenced him with a finger pressed against his lips. "No more words, Armaan," she whispered, her eyes searching his for permission. "Let me show you how I feel."
Armaan's resolve crumbled, his longing for her overwhelming all caution.
As Ishani leaned in, her eyes shining with desire, Armaan raised a hand, halting her advance.
"Ishani, wait," he said, his voice urgent yet tender. "You're still a kid. You don't understand the gravity of what you're doing."
Ishani's face fell, disappointment and hurt clouding her features. "I'm not a kid, Armaan," she protested, her voice shaking. "I know what I want. And I want you."
