Hello, everyone! This chapter contains dark smut, so proceed with caution.
Please keep a few things in mind prior to reading this chapter:
The female lead is a magical being and hence, she does not get hurt easily and feels pain less than mere mortals or people like us, that is, humans. So, the pain you believe she'll be feelings will be more of a pleasure.
If you do not like things as such, I'll add a red symbol before the particular scene and after it ends.
If you do read the scene, please do not leave hateful comments. My friend told me many of you will give me hate for writing such a scene, but I encourage you to skip it if you are against pleasure inflicted by pain.
Jason fell from his power. It crumbled and his throne was taken away from right under him, but he wasn't the only one who felt the repercussions of it. It was felt by the entire population of Ganea, and not just the pagans, but the other creatures as well.
The magic of the pagans of Ganea was bound and locked away, and another name was given to them: wiccans, a cursed species on the brink of extinction due their lost powers.
For the next three days, the kingdom had broken into chaos. All the rivers were poisoned, and the unharvested crops were infected. Ganea, once a symbol of prosperity, was reduced to a land of sickness. The King and Queen and the entire court spent those three days finding the perfect alliance.
The news of the disaster had yet to reach the other lands, hence, they concealed it cleverly and accepted one of the invitations for all three of them. Eliana's brother's engagement was broken up, and his wedding was planned with a princess belonging to a much powerful kingdom.
Roese was forced to marry the heir to the throne of the Keovalan Empire, Prince Daniel. She didn't fight the proposal, and when Eliana asked her the reason behind her sudden surrender, she told her that a princess sometimes had to sacrifice for her kingdom.
The nobles agreed that there was no time to look for a suitor for Eliana, and hence, agreed to the only proposal she had received: the one sent by the Sleyisean Empire.
Treaties were signed, and Eliana being only nine, didn't gain knowledge about all of them, but she knew the terms of the treaty concerning her like the back of her hand.
The treaty demanded gold from Ganea and in return, Sleyisea provided the country with a special kind of crop, Miocao, that was not only cheap, but also filled the stomach more efficiently than regular food.
Ganea gained water in exchange for troops of soldiers that were paid by Ganea. Peace was to be settled between the two kingdoms, and Prince Alex, and all the vampires under him were forbidden from entering the boundaries of Ganea.
The treaty was signed in blood like all the other treaties, and breaking it could prove to be catastrophic for both the parties.
Since Eliana was too young, she was only engaged to the Prince, unlike her sister, who was sent off to directly get married.
Her mother and brother had teared up at the departure of the two sisters, and Eliana had teared up as well. Her sister had remained strong, had hugged Eliana before kissing her forehead and asking her to maintain her strength.
And Eliana had needed it in her time at Sleyisea. Creatures lurked at every turn, creatures that bore no sort of mercy or kindness. The people were nice, but the beasts were too dangerous, lethal even.
But Eliana had learned. She had trained herself to be vigilant and powerful. She lacked magic, but she made up for it in the physical department. She was stronger than half the soldiers of Sleyisea. She was underweight, but that made her no less fatal, and it was all because of Alexander.
