As they approached the dim lighting of Cafe Lucerne, Wriothesley couldn't help but take in the comforting smell of sweet honeyed pastries, along with a hint of cinnamon, something he'd always like to eat alongside tea.

Alright, this should be easy enough... just stay cool, and don't let yourself out of control!

He reassured himself, nodding.

Reaching out to open the door, the Duke nodded at Neuvillette.

"After you, Your Honor."

"Wriothesley, I'd recommend toning your teasing down a bit, lest you wish for me to turn and make my path along back to the Palais Mermonia."

The Iudex jested, the empty threat earning a gentle and amused chuckle from Wriothesley.

Both men entered, and walked towards the front desk, where the woman nodded at them.

"Iudex, Duke. Table seven, is that correct, Your Grace?"

She asks him, to which in response he nodded.

The waitress, whose name he read from her tag as Madelinde, led them to a setup in one of the private rooms, where important meetings between two bigots would usually commence.

However, this wasn't for any of that, merely just for a simple meal with a friend. The table was draped with a silk cloth, the pale moonlight from outside filtering into the gentle and warm atmosphere of the room. The curtain was slightly ajar, allowing it to filter in while a bouquet of freshly plucked Rainbow Roses sat in an elegantly crafted glass vase, the flowers filling the empty room with a sweet scent.

Wriothesley took a seat, and Neuvillette did the same, sighing happily as he looked around, observing the infrastructure.

"I must say, you really outdid yourself with this simple gesture, Your Grace. The setting is rather lavish, not to mention slightly romantic as well."

Oh, this guy does not know what he's implying with that sentence, does he?

The Administrator thought, internally facepalming.

Celestia, I am so incredibly hard right now.
