Chapter 46

       The Duke was a cool and collected man, rarely ever depicting his emotions on display. So when the Iudex decided to just kiss him out of the blue, the reaction was certainly much more pathetic than what he'd like.

Wriothesley's eyes widened in shock, but a muffled squeak escaped his lips. Once his brain finally took the gravity of the situation in, he was back to his normal cocky self. Pulling Neuvillette closer, his eyes fluttered closed as he wrapped his arms around the shorter man's waist, pushing him down onto the couch as he hovered over. Their lips were locked in a passionate embrace, and it was rather amusing to see how much of an amateur Neuvillette was in the field of romantically shown affections.

 Doesn't matter. At this rate, he'll learn soon enough,

The Duke's grip on his slender waist tightened as his pierced tongue probed at Neuvillette's mouth, silently asking for entrance. The Iudex responded by shyly parting his lips, and Wriothesley didn't hesitate to slip his tongue in as their sweet and shy kiss now turned into a heated make out session. Right there. In the middle of the living room. On his damn couch.

With a soft and high pitched moan, Neuvillette's fingers entangled themselves in his dark and choppy locks as their owner squirmed and mewled at every single touch. Naturally, being the tease he was, Wriothesley swiped his tongue over the roof of his mouth, earning a loud and pleased gasp from Neuvillette. When they finally parted with an obscene 'pop!', the Chief Justice was a panting and disheveled mess, the fact that a subordinate like himself could make him completely lose that aura of power and authority in the courthouse shocking. 

"Well well, aren't you a mess?"

"Shut up, Your Grace."

That earned a loud laugh from Wriothesley. The fact that Neuvillette could insult him so gracefully was absolutely endearing to him, and he was tempted to kiss his nose and thank him.
