((Dimension 1-T//Year 2017))
"So did you see the part where I was all like, WUAH! TAKE THAT! And then I went, HIYAHHHH! And like, totally knocked him out with a, PMSH! BOOM!"
Mikey continued doing random nunchuck tricks while spinning and kicking at the air, as I watched with my chin propped up on my fist, slightly bored after answering questions about what I had and hadn't seen him do in the movies for half an hour.
"Yep." I answered in monotone, tilting my head back and glancing towards the lab door for the millionth time since Donnie disappeared in there to run scans on my half of the watch. I wonder what's taking so long?
And has he found anything? Because, as cool as this is, I am gonna need to get back home. I bet Carter's losing his mind. Even if there isn't much to lose.
Mikey's sudden gasp pulled my attention back to him, just before he plopped down on the couch beside me, eyes wide and sparkly and his fists clenched in a silent anticipation.
My eyebrows quirked up as I gave him an uncertain smile.
"So we're a TV show,"
"Movie, but yeah."
"Well, most people have a favorite character in a show, right?"
"Generally."
"Soooooo...." He grinned. "Who's your favorite?"
Fuuuuuuu...... I can't believe he asked that.
I'm pretty sure that's a forbidden question for interdimensional traveling stuff. Especially at this extent. And besides that, anytime you tell someone who your favorite character in a show is, they automatically assume you have a crush on them. And the last thing I need while trying to find a way back to my own world is Mikey teasing me about what he thinks is a crush. Cause he definitely would.
Long explanation short, I am not answering that question.
"Didn't have one." I shrugged, and I really wasn't totally lying. I liked all of them pretty well the same, but for different reasons, so I can't really pick favorites.
Sort of.
"Aw, c'mon! Everyone has a favorite! And don't worry about the guys being jealous, cause I wouldn't tell anyone if it's me." He assured with a wink, clearly too smug for his own good.
I rolled my eyes as a grin once again stretched over my face, shaking my head at his antics. There was a reason he made up like eighty percent of the comic relief in the movies.
"Yes, you would." I laughed, finally deciding to push myself up from the couch to see how things were going in the lab, leaving Mikey sitting there grumbling about how it wasn't fair that I knew as much as I did about them.
My light footsteps made a quiet rhythmic tapping as I walked across the large high-ceiling room that they seemed to spend most of their time in, my eyes trailing over the random graffiti that littered the walls, and not being able to fight the grin that appears on my face as I see 'MC Mikey' splayed over some old work in bubbly orange letters.
The elevator scene was always one of my favorites.
My gaze drifted forward again as I neared the lab, that I believe had been open to the lair at one point, but must've been changed since the movies, judging by the slightly newer looking concrete that made up the wall in front of me.
Guess Donnie wanted a bit more privacy.
I don't blame him.
There was a slightly rusty metal door attached to one side of the entryway, that was about twice the size of the doors in my house, and had clearly been made from assorted pieces of scrap metal being welded together.
