Part 5: Mr. Green Eyes

(Noriko's pov)

The next morning I used my skateboard to get to school. Even when I got to the school building, I was skating down the hallways earning several swear words and laughter from people. As I was skating I saw I was about to knock into someone.

My eyes got wide. "Watch out!" I yelled. The person turned to face me but it was too late. I knocked the person down. I closed my eyes from impact and groaned as I slowly opened my eyes.

I was met with a pair of dumbfounded sea foam green eyes. I stared at the person's eyes and smiled.

"You have really nice eyes." I stated not even caring that people were staring us, our position, or that this guy was giving a deadly aura while sort of glaring at me.

I laughed awkwardly as I backed away slightly.

"I'm Noriko. Sorry for knocking you down." I said. "NORIKO!" A teacher roared. I looked behind me and yelped as I got up and grabbed my board and beanie. "See you later pretty eyes!" I yelled as I ran down the hall from the fuming teacher.

(Gaara's pov)

I looked behind me as I watched the odd girl running away from the furious teacher. Kids were whispering about what they had just witnessed as they gave me wary looks. "Hey Gaara you okay?" Temari asked walking out.

I sighed as I got up and brushed myself off. "Some girl was on her skateboard and knocked me down...I think her name is Noriko." I said impassive. She then let out a laugh.

"Yea she's a little ball of energy. Every Thursdays are 'Hall Skating' days as she likes to put it," she said amusingly. 'She's an odd girl' I thought.

But I was stunned she complimented me and wasn't afraid. Most people were frightened of me since I'm a mafia boss and my father owned a wealthy business. He placed me in this school to help my appearance to the public.

A lot of people believe I'm a cruel killer.

"C'mon Gaara let's get your schedule. You can meet everyone else later." Temari said as she waved me over to her. I sighed as I followed her.

(Noriko's pov)

I let out a sigh of relief as I got into my classroom and lost the angry teacher. "Man, old people are so tiresome." I muttered as I walked to my desk. The girls in the room scowled at me as I walked to my desk.

I dropped my stuff messily and smiled when I saw Naruto and Shikamaru sleeping on their desks. I took out my cell phone and took a picture. I laughed as I evilly said in my head, 'Blackmail' I then woke them up.

They both groggily looked at me. Naruto had bags under his eyes as he drowsily looked at me. "Let me guess...your mom made you help get stuff ready for your dad's campaign to become mayor and Shikamaru is being his lazy ass self." I said knowingly.

I earned groans from them both as Naruto let his head fall again into its old position. I chuckled a bit and looked at the yawning Shikamaru.

"Thanks a lot troublesome woman, now I can't go back to sleep." He said as he talked over Naruto's sleeping figure. I scoffed as I rolled my eyes. "You and I both know that's a lie. You're as lazy as a sloth Shika." I reprimanded slightly.

He shrugged lazily.

 "Hey is that a new beanie?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. I smiled as I shifted it comfortably on my head. "Mhm, Sasuke made it for me." I stated. "Speaking of Sasuke, where's Uchiha?" he asked glancing around the room.

"I don't know but that duckass better show up today or I swear I'll kill him." I growled as I crossed my arms. Shikamaru then laughed a bit causing me to raise an eyebrow at him.

"I find it funny how you casually threaten a mafia boss. If he wasn't your friend you'd be dead." He said to me. I smiled a bit. "Well yea I mean we practically grew up together. But it's because we're friends that I can still talk to him like a normal person." I said.

The classroom door opened and I looked to see Sasuke and Kiba. "Well speak of the Duckass," I said mockingly with a smirk. Sasuke glared at me as he walked up and slapped me behind the head.

I scowled and glared at him. "Move over dumbass." He said as he roughly pushed me so he can get to the other side of the long table. "Hoi just wait!" I yelled angrily but he was already on my left. I looked at him annoyed as my eyebrow twitched.

 "Sometimes I just want to put you over my grill and roast you, but I bet you'd taste terrible." I growled as a deadly aura surrounded me.

"Is that how you thank me after bringing you food?" he asked displeased as he held a bag in front of my face and smell of Jugo's cinnamon buns hitting my nose. I hungrily grabbed it from his clutches.

"Well you didn't tell me that till now." I countered as I ate a bun and moaned. Soon everyone came and class began.
