(Noriko's pov)
The next day started out pretty good. I had stayed at the gang compound last night so the next morning Sasuke and I showed up at school together. When we got there I had to drag him by the ear then dragged Naruto by the ear and forced the two to apologize.
Hinata silently thanked me afterwards when the two made up.
"Seriously you two are like three year olds!" I scolded the two as they sat on their desks with huge bumps on their heads. I had an irk mark while my arms were crossed and I irritably tapped my foot.
Naruto scratched the back of his neck nervously while Sasuke looked away not wanting to admit his fault. The group was back together and everything was at peace. When the bell rang, I sighed and went to my seat.
Everything was going great except for the fact that Sasuke and Gaara had a glaring contest every time I looked away.
When we were sitting in chemistry Sasuke would always look back at Gaara who was giving him a glare. "What the hell is wrong with you two?" I asked Sasuke in a whisper, not wanting to disturb Orochimaru-sensei in the middle of his lecture.
He glanced at me while he rested his chin on his hand.
"Don't worry about it,." Sasuke grunted.
"Oh what a great suggestion Sasuke! Why don't I do just that, I'll just cover my eyes and act as if there aren't two mafia bosses sitting in the same room glaring at each like they're trying to attack a piece of meat. And who might that meat be? ME!" I whispered/ yelled while slightly throwing my hands up.
He rolled his eyes and looked back at the board. Before I could go on someone cleared their throat making me freeze and turned around stiffly to see Orochimaru-sensei glaring at me. I let out a nervous laugh.
"Hey Teach. Have you been working out because you're looking a bit buff there," I said awkwardly but his glare didn't waver. I kept laughing sheepishly, "No?" I questioned.
"Miss Noriko. I understand that you have the inevitable needs to talk during my lectures and they bore you, but if you can't at least pretend you're listening then please, be quiet or leave." He hissed slightly while narrowing his eyes.
I cowered a bit, gulped, and stiffly nodded. He turned back around, with his long black hair flowing behind him.
"Tch, transgender," I mumbled hatefully as I listened to his long, geek language lecture. However, that was not before glaring at Sasuke who was already looking at me with a smug smirk. "Go eat your kind." I hissed childishly.
The moment the bell rang I was out of there. Sasuke was barely able to catch up to me as I ran to my next period. I was so happy it was Kakashi-sensei's. We didn't particularly have to do much.
When I got in class I took a seat next to a sleeping Shikamaru and when Sasuke came in he saw that I already had a partner. He groaned, realizing the only seat was by Ino. I smirked at his misery and leaned back in my chair.
I heard a satisfying squeal and groan from Sasuke. Naruto also laughed as his pain but was scolded by Hinata. I snickered to myself, as my imaginary devil horns came out. Shikamaru woke up from my faint laughter and when he saw what me and many others were laughing at, he chuckled as well.
A few minutes later Kakashi-sensei walked in with the same drowsy look on his face. "Morning class," he drawled out. The class responded with a 'morning'. We went on with the lesson. It was quite boring.
When it was almost the end of class Kakashi-sensei cleared his throat, grabbing all of our attention. "Listen up, I have some homework." He said with a wide, sadistic grin. Everyone else groaned in protest.
"Now, now. Listen before you complain. The homework is a partner assignment. You and your partners are to......write a story." he revealed finally. Everyone released groans while I just sat there smiling and swinging my legs back and forth.
"The Partner sheet will be shown during Second half of lunch," He announced. Right then the bell rang and everyone ran outside.
"Nori!" I turned to see Temari dragging Kankuro and Gaara behind her while running up to me. I smiled and waved. "Hey! What's up?" I asked. "We were wondering if you wanted to go to the roof top with us for lunch?" Temari questioned.
"She's eating with me," came a stern voice. "Eh?" i turned to see Sasuke. "I don't see why she can't eat with us today," Gaara spoke up while walking in front of Temari. The 2 boys glared immensely, making me shrink between them.
"Hey guys," I called out but they ignored me. I sighed and turned my head to the window. My eyes widen and I let out a loud unintentional gasp. The two arguing boys turned to look down at me.
"What's wrong?" Gaara asked concerned. "I...." My heart fell to my stomach as I watched the person outside smirk and walk away. "I have....to go," I trailed off before hurriedly running away. "NORIKO!" I heard the others shout for me but I ignored them.
I ran through the hallways and jumped down the stairs. When I did I passed by Kiba and Naruto. "Huh? Hey, Nori where you going?!" Kiba and Naruto shouted after me.
"I have to go!" I yelled back waving back to them. I continued running, even after I reached outside. 'Why..why is he here?!' I shouted in my head as I began to pant slightly.
I ran all the way to the back of the school till I reached my destination. I wheezed lightly but still stood straight. The male in front of my was leaning on the Sakura tree while moving his cigarette from his mouth and releasing some smoke.
My eyes narrowed while my hands tightened into fists.
"Don't you know it's bad to make people wait? Little Sister"
