(Noriko's pov)

Miss Mei ended up driving me to the hospital while Tori watched the store. I told her she could leave me afterwards so she didn't have to wait for me all night. She was quite reluctantly, but after some persuading from my doctor and I, she decided to do so.

Miss Mei ended up excusing me from work for the next few days before she left me. Right now I was waiting for my test results while laying in a comfortable bed in a comfortably silent room. The doctor walked in with a clipboard and looked up at me with a small smile.

He was a young man with grey hair and glasses. His name tag said 'Kabuto'.

Although he was smiling, he gave me bad vibes.

"Alright miss Noriko, good news. It seems you had a fever but it's gone down considerably. Bad news is that your black out was caused from stress and overwork. This is usually from high blood pressure and little rest for the body." He informed me while looking down at his board.

I sighed a bit. "Figured as much." I muttered.

He pushed up his glasses, continuing to smile kindly at me. "My advice would be you take it easy. Take this medication during the afternoon and get as much rest as you can." He told me sternly.

"Thanks Doc." I smiled, slowly hoping off the bed. "I already signed you out so you may leave." He told me. I nodded and thanked him again before leaving. I glanced at the clock at the front lobby to see it read 5:30.

I decided to go to the gang compound and check on Sasuke. I had to take the bus since I had no other ride of transportation. When I got on I began rubbing my hands together to warm them up.

Eventually I took off my beanie, I had grabbed my stuff before we left, and wrapped my hands in it trying to get some warmth. During the ride I looked out the window thinking about how upset Sauske was today.

He didn't seem particularly mad at me being defiant but something seemed to bother him more. He'd never be that pissed at me unless something already pissed him off beforehand. My stop zoo name and I got off the bus.

I was a few blocks away. I shivered as fog appeared from my breathing. I began my journey to the compound.

When I got there I casually walked in slowly. I stumbled a bit because it seemed every step caused my head to hurt. "Big sister!" a loud shout came. I groaned as I held my head and looked at the gang member annoyed.

"Hoi keep it low, I don't feel good." I muttered. He bowed in front of me and apologized quietly. I sighed a bit. "Is Sasuke here?" I asked. He shook his head in a 'no'. I sighed again as I continued through the compound.

I hoped that one of the idiots here knew where he was.

When I got inside the building and saw a familiar batch of red head. I smirked a bit as I walked into the living room. "Well if it isn't my favorite red headed tomato." I smirked teasingly. She looked up and glared at me.

"This is a mafia compound not a hospital for the mental stupid." She growled at me. I laughed. "Oh I know because you're here." I said sitting on the couch across from her. She pushed up her glasses and glared at me.

Karin and I aren't exactly friends but we have a somewhat sense of respect for each other. Karin takes care of the gangs financial and other official conferences.

She had a thin figure, red hair, brown eyes, and glasses. She wore a short black skirt that had a slit on the right side of her hip while she wore black leggings and a purple long sleeved crop top.

"What's all the fuss about?" came a slightly lazy voice. We looked to see Suigetsu.

He had short white hair that was dyed blue at the ends and had purple eyes. He wore a dark blue sleeveless shirt with a collar that ended at the middle of his neck and wore cargo pants with a belt. He usually had a large sword on his back. His sharp teeth and love for aquariums earned him the nickname 'Sushi' or 'Water Boy'

"Hey Fishy." I smirked. "Hey, what's up Nori haven't seen you in awhile" he smiled as he went behind the couch Karin sat on and leaned on it.

"Mhm" I agreed. "Hey what's up with Sasuke? He came by my school today and he was on edge for some reason." I asked with a raised eyebrow. Suigetsu sighed as he straightened up and rubbed the back of his neck.

"No clue. Karin?" he asked looking down at the red head.

"Hmph. All I know is that he went to his parents house and came back in a hissy fit." She scowled as she pushed up her glasses.

"I see...so neither of you have seen him" I asked. They shook their heads. I looked down as worry began to bubble in my stomach. I'm sure my worry could be seen on my face. I sighed as I stood up "Well when he gets back tell him I want to talk to him." I requested and Suigetsu nodded once.

"You're not staying?" Jugo suddenly said coming into the room.

I smiled and shook my head. "No. I don't think it'd be smart to stay around when he's pissed don't you think." I asked them sarcastically while letting out a crooked smirk. They nodded in agreement and I waved goodbye as I left the compound.

"Hoi Nori!" I turned to see it was Suigetsu. "Don't worry so much. That idiot is fine," he said reassuringly. I smiled and nodded before turning back aroun

Thankfully, one of the members gave me a jacket, which I thanked him for. 'I need to remember to bring a jacket with me.' I thought.
