He held her hair back as she threw up in the toilet on the verge of tears, "Babe you don't need to cry".

"This is so embarrassing," she groaned.

Taking the hint that she needed to be alone, he walked away out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. Throwing up was an icky feeling especially when it was once a day from something striking her nerves. Today they were going to be back in their house. If it wasn't for her throwing up, they would have already been on the road.

Flushing the toilet, washing her hands, putting on her sneakers and walking out, she stood in front of Morgan who was on the couch on his phone. Looking up, he gave her belly a kiss and her a kiss before grabbing her hand and going in the truck.

As she buckled herself in, Morgan took a quick picture of her making her look out the window as he put his hand on her thigh and gave it a light squeeze.

"Our life really begins together now," he told her softly as he reversed.

She nodded, "Isn't it crazy? I wonder how the house looks".

He slowed down the car and handed her his phone before proceeding to drive off, "Here I came up with some things for the baby".

She was still in shock as to how prepared he was about this but after all, he had a kid with Katie. Oh my god. Katie. Laney started to internally panic at the thought. Looking at the photos of some nursery ideas and even a treehouse he wanted to build, she gave him an uneasy smile, "These look great".

"Wow the enthusiasm is really there," he sarcastically remarked.

Rolling down her window for some fresh air, the two of them were met with the icy wind blaring in their faces. Morgan rolled the window back up, "Laney are you crazy?".

She turned to face him but no words were coming out. Her vision was beginning to tunnel and she was beginning to panic. She was about to have a fucking panic attack or a stroke. Tuning him out she tried to focus.

5 things she could see. The road, her hands... fuck. Ok let's try... nope. She unbuckled her seatbelt and cracked the window again pissing Morgan off, "Laney what the fuck?".

She began to heavily breathe and put her head out the window. She could hear his muffled yelling but her ears were ringing as her face was being slapped by the reality of her situation... and the wind. Taking a deep breath, she retracted her head and rolled up the window as if nothing happened. Putting her seatbealt back on, she faced forward before facing him, "We should get a nursery camera too. The treehouse looks great. Good thinking babe".

Morgan seemed absolutely stunned. He was speechless for a moment before he spoke, "So are we not going to talk about what just happened?".

Laney looked at the ground before looking at him and gulping, "I don't want you to get mad".

His eyebrow quirked up but he sighed, "I wont get mad. What is it?".

"Promise?"

"Jesus La- I promise".

"I was thinking about how prepared and excited you were. And well... I forgot about Katie. I forgot about your kid with her. She's going to have to know. And well, what kind of situation does that put us in? I mean I know this is long-term thinking but... forget it. I sound stupid," she rambled.

He put his hand back on her thigh before rubbing it and giving it a gentle squeeze, "That puts us in no situation. The whole world will know that we have a son. I don't intend on having our son meet their kid considering they're both batshit crazy now. It's our life. We got married. We are starting our own family. Sure thing I know a thing or two but I also have done my research baby. This is special. You are my world now and till death does us apart".
