The waitress came strutting over, twirling her hair with her finger and carrying 2 fancy napkins.

"It looks like you might need these, Sir." She told Jasper sweetly while moving her shoulder.

I looked at her and then my brother. I may not be super knowledgeable in the social world but as a 17 year old, I know what flirting is.

He took the napkins and quickly rubbed the whipped cream off.

"Thank you gorgeous," He said, eying her up.

I'm going to kill myself.

As if that wasn't enough, she licked her fingers, "I think you missed a spot," and she leaned over, showing off you-know-what, and got the most minuscule piece of whipped cream off of his jawline.

I coughed. "Damn girl, you mine as well get a straw and drink the milkshake with him. Or stick your tongue down his throat. Well excuse me, I'll just go and bleach my eyes out and then take a trip to the handy black hole right down the sewer."

The waitress looked at me, then to Jasper. "You should control that rat."

Jasper wiped any look of amusement off of his face. "You should leave," he told her.

She was shocked, "Excuse me?"

"You should leave. Now." He repeated, looking at her emotionless.

She looked back at me. "Thanks for that, bitch."

She really wants to play that game?

"I'm sorry, let me hit on and then fling my breasts in front of your brother when you're sitting across table. We'll see how you feel after that."

She scoffed and walked away.

"Come on let's go." Jasper said, getting out of the booth, and setting down the amount of the bill in cash.

"Umm, tips are mandatory." The same waitress practically yelled at us as we were walking out of the door.

Jasper looked over his shoulder. "They're not unless you want your manager to know that you hit on your customers and directly insult them, too."

The lady stayed silent.

"That's what I thought." We continued walking out.

The Silva siblings won, yet again. I smiled to myself. I was nowhere near complete accepting what has happened to me. I was beginning to accept my new family. I was beginning to accept happiness.

I walked in the door to see Malakai setting the table and Adrian cooking.

Malakai greeted me. "Hey, how did it go?"

"Yess, spill." Adrian commanded.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Just got a diet plan and a milkshake with a secret ingredient of waitress hitting on Jasper."

"Ooo, is she coming over tonight?" Malakai jokingly asked Jasper.

"She was a bitch."

"Oh damn man, that sucks. I guess you have to stay abstinent for another 3 weeks."

I went over to wash my hands, not wanting to participate in the conversation, for an obvious reason.

As Adrian dished out food, he snickered.

Jasper set his keys in the basket. "Damn bro, at least I'm not a man-whore."

"Guys, chill." Malakai looked at Adrian to see why he was being such a buzz kill, but he looked up to see me silently washing my hands with a neutral expression.

"Oh sorry, Oaklynn." Malakai said. I dried my hands.

"No it's fine, carry on I don't care." I said, getting frustrated.

I saw that Archer and Grayson were now seated at the table, since dinner was almost ready.

"No it's okay. I forgot that we shouldn't talk about that stuff around you." Adrian looked at me sympathetically.

I've had enough, that comment reached my limit.

Oaklynn, don't say it. You'll regret it, you don't want to reveal this to people that you don't know you can trust.

I turned around and let my hands hit my thighs. "Why? Because I was raped by people?"

Great going Oaklynn, you let your emotions win. I thought you were stronger than that.

Some of my brothers eyes grew wide, with mixed expressions of pissed off and upset.

I shook my head and continued, "Just because I was raped does not mean that I can't handle hearing about sex. They're two completely different things."

Adrian spoke, "No..I-"

"Each of you treat me like I'm that same 3 year old girl that you used to know 14 years ago. Well news flash, I'm not. Sorry to break your little hearts. But even though I've had a shit past, it shouldn't define my life now. So stop fucking acting like I'm 3! I'm damn close to an adult, so treat me like it! The only person I don't feel totally undermined by is my twin."

"I'm not hungry." I muttered, finishing my rant.

None of my brothers said anything. Even the usual stone-cold-Archer said nothing. I sped-walked into my room and shut the door, quickly changing into a comfy outfit and lying down in bed.

It happened. I let go of the one thing that I still had only to myself. They know. Great going, me.
