I left Archer's office

I left Archer's office. I could feel that I was about to cry, but I'd be damned if I were to cry in front of my brothers. I heard Adrian behind me, but he thankfully left me alone.

I walked outside, going for the gate when the guards stopped me.

"Piss the fuck off or I swear to god I'll have your head." I looked at the guards in all seriousness.

They didn't protest after, so I walked past the gate and stuffed my hands in my pockets. I didn't know what to think, and yet I was thinking everything.

I took out my lighter and cigarette case, lighting one and bringing it towards my mouth and drawing it out.

My thoughts calmed down, and I knew somewhere in me, I was elated to have a twin sister.

I boarded the plane, said hello to Carlos, my pilot, and took a seat, setting up my laptop as an attendant handed me a cup of coffee for which I thanked her. I checked my watch. 4:55 am. Jasper better hurry his ass up if he wants to make this flight. As if summoning the devil, Jasper walked in.

"Hey, Archie! Aren't you glad I'm on time." I looked up to see a way-too-awake-for-5am Jasper .

"It's a blessing."

"Aw shucks I'm so flattered." He giggled as he plopped down on the couch opposite to me.

How the hell is this child second-in-command of my mafia? I ignored his antics and continued doing my own work.

We both buckled our seatbelts, getting ready for take-off. The flight isn't too long, so I didn't have much time to prepare myself to meet Oaklynn. I have no idea what to say.

"Jasper."

"Hm?"

"Do not tell Oaklynn about our Mafia." I told him bluntly.

Jasper looked mildly pissed off. "Really? And how did that go the last time we didn't tell our siblings something?"

"Don't fucking put that into this." I was 10 years old and I had to make life or death decisions. That was one that I didn't think was a big deal, and I happened to jack it up.
