"you may get dressed in there, i will have his highness informed that you are awake" she said, as i got dressed in what was a nice set of cloths
"since it is a king, this shouldn't be surprising" i muttered quietly to myself, there was a knock on the door
"i'm dressed" i said, and adaline walked in
"his majesty wishes to meet you, come, it's best not to keep him waiting she said i nodded following her, as she led the way to the throne room, two guards in fancy uniforms with swords at their hips, and what appeared to be gun holsters as well, which was surprising, the door opened and we were gestured in and i followed her to the foot of the stairs that led to the throne, where adaline kneeled and followed her example

"tell me boy, we have while you slept studied you, your an outworlder, how did you get into our world who summoned you" the king demanded
"i wasn't summoned so to speak, i was sent here, i was told that i'd gain happiness and all i'd need to do, was what i always did already" i said

"i see, so what will happen to me" i asked
"it has to my knowledge never happened where an individual would have the power to come to our world of their own volition, and even the summoned individuals had to collect their djinns from this world, your evangelions simply became your djinns, this like means they are changing to incorporate our world and it's laws of reality" the king said stroking his chin
"i will not kill you, i am not sure if i can, djinn's have minds of their own, and i am sure yours is very loyal to you, and will defend you, tell me the true form of your djinn, what's it like" he said
"an eighty meter tall behemoth" i said, he blanched
"no, we will not make an enemy of you if this is true, you said you came here to find happiness, why is that" he said
"as i said, my home is being attacked by creatures of similar size to the evangelions, i was sacrificed with my unit, to kill one of them" i said, he nodded gravely

"then i hereby give you the name alexandre von lichtenwald, of the vyltiana duchy, you now have a new father, my dearest old friend, and lord inquisitor abraham von lichtenwald, if that is alright with you of course, my old friend" he said
"i have needed a heir for years, since my dearest wife's passing, with the adoption ritual, he will do" abraham said, the man was a terrifying figure, standing tall
"good, then you will take him" the king asked
"i will, we will head for vyltiana, immediately after the ritual, and if his majesty will permit i would also like to do the engraving ceremony here as well" abraham said with a bow
