"hello shinji" gendo said, as shinji stared

"father" i asked

"yes, and no, i am gendo ikari, but i come from a parallel world, my battles are over, and i have finally done something right where my son, is concerned he is in good hands now" gendo said fondly

"what" i asked confused

"the multiverse is a beautiful thing, there are endless possibilities, in the multiverse there are parallels, for example there are parallels to your universe, including ours which would see you as a parallel, since there is no real way of seeing which universe started the multiverse" gendo attempted to explain

"i think i get it" i said

"of course you do, your our son, weather in mine or in this one, you are still the son of the scientists gendo and yui ikari" gendo said

"where are we" i asked

"within the core of my personal evangelion, unit-13, my son wished for the complete erasure of all evangelions, that is not something so easily done, so i have decided to do something that i think my shinji would agree with, i saved you, your EVA unit-01 has been destroyed there is nothing left of it, the unit-01 of my universe is still very much intact and it is now yours, all of our evangelions are, i am sending you away, to a place where you can use this power to find a place where you can belong, where you can have a choice, i have everything set up to where all you must do, is what you have always done, the right thing, i know your scared rightfully so, but trust me, i am doing this not for myself, not for some scenario, not for yui, i am doing this solely for you, and your happiness, for i truly genuinely believe that this will bring you happiness, and step one has already been achieved" gendo said

"step one" i asked

"i need to get you out of my counterparts hands, right now, unit-13 is currently facing units-00 and 02, don't worry, unit-13 is fighting purely defensively, the only harm either EVA pilot will come to will be self-inflicted, unit-13 you see has no operation time limit, so all it must do is wait out the other EVAs before step two begins, but you won't notice when that happens, as i control this realm and have slowed down your perception of time in here significantly" gendo said

"why are you fighting them" i asked

"my counterpart believes that unit-13, is just unit-01 in a new form, that it was forced to take, this is not the case, i built unit-13 completely separate from unit-01, by i digress, this belief of his is compounded by the fact that your body is sitting in one of unit-13's entry plugs" gendo said

i awoke to find myself no longer in the entry plug of the evangelion, i also found myself wearing completely different cloths which confused me, i was wearing his school uniform, but the shoes had been changed to scuffed up loafer style shoes, he was confused as to why he was wearing this, but he decided he'd wing it

he heard a commotion and understood a piece of what his father said

"he must have meant that in order for me to attain my happiness, i need to intervene here" he said, as he quickly moved, he noticed that the people looked to be out of western fantasy novel, of lower-class, the men wore very similar to himself why the females wore, scuffed up dresses of some form or fashion, he found a knife nearby and grabbed it, he felt a familiar wave wash over him, similar to the feeling of connecting to his EVA, as the knife slowly began to change into a progknife, as he ran, he found small group of well dressed figures with what appeared to be their guards who were either dead or unconscious, the leader of the high-class group an elderly figure looked worried

"you will not get away with this" the man said

"i think we already have" the thug said, before he was stabbed from the back by the progknife

'i should have probably, targeted the throat' i thought as i turned

"you'll need to go through me first" i said

"you brat, you don't know who your messing with" the thugs second said

"neither do you" i returned

"father look" one of the girls said, and the man did

"a djinn spirit" the man muttered

"so he will save us" another girl asked

"maybe daughter" the man said as the boy began to dispatch the group, he wasn't the strongest or the most skilled, but he was fast, scarily so, and he seemed to be able to take serious punishment as he had been hit by several of the thugs, and was bleeding heavily, but the knife gleamed in his hand, as the spirit's eyes glowed ominously

"you know, i am used to getting the crap beat out of me by this point" i said, as i charged at the remaining thugs, killing them all one by one with ruthless efficiency

"anyone else" i asked to the three remaining thugs

"we aren't paid enough for this" one of them said

"let's get out a here" another said as the three turned and booked it

"as i thought" he said, as he fell over unconscious something he was used to by this point
