"i refuse to command anyone else, my men and i shared blood, sweat, and tears together in training, and in several engagements over the years, as i didn't just sit back and watched, i do not give orders i would be unwilling to do myself, that's matthius's job to do for me" i said
"i see" she said
"i'm sure you don't, there is only two people i trust more then my crew, only two" i said
"yes, your former teammates from your war, i still have hope that they will fall into your lap, getting access to that ayanami and adding her to the homunculi would make us unstoppable" the king said, a vicious smile on his face
"so long as your able to also copy her personality too, i still think there needs to be stronger elements in place to ensure the loyalty of the homunculi" i said
"my mages are looking into it, your proved your point effectively three years ago" he said

"there was a homunculus, that was a lot more powerful then his compatriots, he was their king, he could command them, and his commands overwrote his majesties, his majesty attempted to imprint him, i had to kill him, to save his majesty" i said
"yes, it is why, we have been changing the laws regarding the homunculi and their treatment, it is why you are now my heir, the other children will not listen to reason, and you figured it out before all of us, it is a reason, why i want you to study under the good captain"
"i do not mind bringing her aboard the reliant, and having her watch" i said
"she will only learn through action" the king said, i sighed
"as i said, if i am to command a royal-sovereign, my father will have my head if it isn't the heracles" i said
"we talked about this, the leviathan is to be my daughter's ship once you are satisfied with her" the king said, i sighed
"you won't let me out of this will you" i asked
"i'm afraid not, this is necessary" he said
"you understand what i will be doing, i am going to break her, as i have done with everyone under my command" i said
"i spoke with several of your men, and am aware what to expect you have free rein, make her worthy of the throne she will be inheriting" he said, i sighed
"i expect you at the dock an hour before first light tomorrow if you aren't there well, your wake-up call will be less then pleasant" i said
"understood" she said
"who is in charge of the leviathan now" i asked
"that would be my daughter's personal knight, speak with him" he said
"he has command experience" i asked
"he has command training, as do all homunculi" the king said
"good enough, if you'll excuse me i need to make preparations, princess we are leaving the capitals do not pack anything other then your uniform, everything else will be provided to you, prepare for hell" i said, she nodded
"your majesty" i said, he nodded
"your dismissed, and captain, thank you, i am aware you are doing this against your better judgement, i have a surprise for you, which will make itself know later at your office in the palace" he said, i nodded as i left, as i left the room matthius stood waiting
"orders" he asked
"i need your help" i said, the man stiffened, his captain never asked for anything
"what is it, alex" he asked
"i need the crew to help me train a much larger bunch of idiots, this included imperial crown princess rosalina von albrecht rosenfield" i said
"should we really put her threw our training" he asked
"those were the specific instructions given to me, i am to put her and her crew through their paces, apparently, my crew has been talking about our training, but i have also covered my bases, i have informed him that we will be breaking her so that we can make her new, and i apparently have a surprise waiting in my office" i said
"sounds fun, the crew i am sure would be more then willing to help you train the idiots to be an effective force" he said
"thank you, my friend, i know i promised that we wouldn't train like this again" i said
"his majesty has called, we shall answer, i'll inform the crew" matthius said, i nodded to him as he went to do just that
